Yes... I am very excited to hopefully receive it before June 11th. Like I said my bb is being difficult so any day sooner than the 11th is great. I'm up by Canada in Ny.. Its been said before about the east coast warehouse being ahead of orders as well.

this really annoys me, they cant even fill our orders yet they send shipments to retailers (such as BB and now amazon) so new people are able to buy the phones without the wait...

BTW, When I called today I got the feeling the sales rep is a bit annoyed by the calls. I got the tired old "will ship by the 7th" routine again. When I asked how that will help me determine when to be at the house to meet the Fedex guy I got nothing but another "will ship by the 7th response".
I'm a 5/17 in store orderer and haven't yet seen anything about it in email.

I ordered from VZW on the 27th. Ship by the 17th, the rep said the 13th. Now you've got me hoping.
What sucks about ordering from telesales is you can't track your order online you have to call.

No dice for me.
On my receipt the location is noted as: D#### 01
Immediately after is the order number at #225###
So would my tracking number be:
####01_000225###? (Obviously replacing the # with numbers)
Or would I add the D?
I've tried a few variants so I'm guessing there's just no info yet.
I put the order location letter in - D for you, W for me - then the four digits, then 01. No spaces. It worked perfectly.

Well I just finished my order on amazon. i logged on as soon as I saw the message to try amazon and I ordered two. Got em for 149.99 a piece. Free 2 day delivery. Will be here 6/4. I had to do it, I am not waiting til 6/20. cant do it. So now I have 4 DIs coming to me. Dang. My wife is gonna be pissed.

Mine has been sitting at the "destination sort facility", which is less than 1 hour from me, for the past 75+ hours. Since 7:40 Saturday night... Didn't move AT ALL today... It's supposed to be here tomorrow. I'm getting a little worried...

RdBrd83 ordered through Amazon. You ordered through Verizon (as did I). I wouldn't get my hopes up.
I figure Best Buy and Amazon periodically get them in bunches.

That's my deduction as well, but many of the BB reps I spoke to here in Chi say that they either get new ones in on Weds or Thurs, but theyre all spoken for already. So even if the BB site states they have em in stock, they will already be reserved anyway. Thats the story for me anyway, because I was checking their site constantly and called every time a store showed em in stock, but it was always the same story, "They're reserved"

Backorders ship out every day. They have no way to tell you when yours will ship out other than the "ship by" date. Hopefully you'll get it sooner than that, but there is no way for anyone to promise a closer date.
I ordered instore on the 31st and am still waitng on a shipping information. Then Again I got my incredible for free! Yes FREE! Verizon apparently has the buy one get one free on any droid, so with the NE2 100 dollar credit got a moto droid for 100 qnd a DI for free, so I figure free is worth the wait
This thread is becoming pretty popular. Please let me know by "thanks" if you want it stickied, so it stays at the top. I'd sticky it for a bit until more phones come out, making this thread obsolete.

I got my incredible for free, too, but we paid $200 for the Droid. My wife got the Droid and my Incredible was free... Not a bad deal, imo. Oh, and we're new customers to VZW.

Verizon ships phones from multiple warehouses to cover the country, so each warehouse ships as phones arrive. It is not reasonable to expect them all to ship the same date backorders on the same day from different warehouses.

It'll move to its final destination in the middle of the night. The trucks don't carry from the sorting facility to the destination station in the middle of the day. AND they keep the packages there that aren't going the next day in order to prioritize more important shipments.
