Date you ordered and received the phone vs. "will ship by" date

i ordered the incredible may 12th and still have not heard anything from vzw.. ive been reading all these forums and stumbled upon the new motorola droid 2 that might be released this summer. would u guys suggest the inc or wait for the droid 2//shadow??

If i ordered my phone on friday and they told me it was shipped by 6/1
and the site just changed to 6/8
does this mean my phone won't be here till then?

The date on the web site is for current orders. If you place your order now, the posted date is the date it will ship by. The date posted when you ordered your phone is the latest date your phone will ship by.

they just told me "If you dont receive your phoe by 5/26, then you will receive it by 6/9."

what the hell does that mean? thats the most uncertain answer ever.

There are clear promise dates posted on VZW's intranet for all employees to see the latest date your phone will ship by. I don't know why they didn't just give you that date.

OUCH!!! I hope not since I ordered it the same day as you only I am in California (if ur in California too then oppz ) ... So when I called Verizon today to get status the CSR told me that they are stagnating the shipping in conjunction with FedEx since they don't want to be overloaded ... i say BS but since there seem to be people that work for Verizon here can anyone back this claim up or was the CSR just pulling sh*t out of her A**.

Ordered 2 more Incredibles and an Eris on Saturday(5/15) and they were recieved today at the house.

Call Customer Service and request they give you the date posted in InfoManager. I'm glad to point you in the right direction but posting proprietary info is not my game. Too much of that going on.

what ever day the site showed when you ordered you phone is the day you SHOULD have it by. Most people get their phones a little before.

Stick with the date the web site had when you ordered it as the latest date it will ship by. Hopefully it's sooner, but whoever said they were in stock didn't know what they were looking at.

FINALLY got the email saying my phone will be here tomorrow!!! I have all the accessories and was just waiting on the phone There is about an hour in the afternoon when I wont be home, so it had better NOT be delivered at that time!!

AHHHHHHH I ordered mine on the 8th as well and haven't heard anything more yet. Normally I'm not this impatient but I can't wait to play with the phone. This is making the days, consequently work, go soo slow...

idk if it's because i've had three sense ui devices but to me sense is kind of boring(aside from the 7 screens).

Motoblur feels bloated and overwhelming to me.. Sense is close enough to stock android that it still feels pretty open and vanilla in comparison to motoblur.

for any of you still waiting for your droid INC to come in the mail... If you go to verizonwireless.com and login into your account does it still say you are eligible for an upgrade? mine does. I feel like they made an error when I bought it in store and didnt do something right cause it says im still eligible. no complaining though. This could be a very good thing for when LTE phones come out in a year...

My still says that as well, but it's only because the new device has not been activated. If you try to click on "upgrade now" it will tell you, you are no longer eligible due to recently purchasing a new phone that has not yet been activated.
