Ordered 5/31 in store. Promised ship was 6/21
SW MI. I am so impatient, I have been watching these forums and going through apps so much its not even funny. I have all my apps in app brain, I am just waiting for my Incredible to show up

My hubby just ordered the INC in the VZW store. They said it would ship by the 11th of June...any way in hell he'll actually get this thing on Saturday or Monday, or was he fed a line of BS? I asked them why online the scheduled ship date was the 6/30...he didn't say why. We also hit up a few Best Buys just to make sure they didn't have one laying around. They also said they would have some in by the weekend....
Luckily I picked mine up in store a few days after it was released!
...BTW....I converted him from an iPhone! Hopefully he enjoys the dark side!

Hi Peeps - Ordered on 5/12 and got it on 6/4. Was told I would get it in a couple of days by VZN rep. OK though. Got it and now, so much to learn.....

I waited a long time, but finally got my email.
However, I am out of town
But I thought I could just call FedEx and have them
hold the package.
So I called them, and they said that I need to wait
until they get one failed delivery attempt.
So I waited.
When I check the tracking and saw that it failed
I called them again.
They said they could hold it, but when I told
them when I was coming back (6/18) they
said sorry ... we cannot hold the package that long!!!!!
ARGH!!!!
Now its going to be sent back to verizon and I will have
to do this all over again
Anyone have any advice?

Family member in town? ask them to pick it up. Girlfriend maybe? I'd get someone there and grab it.
I just got mine today, lovin it!!!
They said it could only be someone with my last name or someone
who lives at my address. I am going to call them again tomorrow
during business hours to see if I can get some extra help. I will
also try to call verizon.

Ordered in VZ corporate store: 5/19
Original ship date: 6/9
Received tracking info/ship date: 6/4
Confirmed delivery date: 6/8
Total wait time: 20 LONG days!
However.... it was VERY MUCH worth the wait. I love it, I love it, I love it. It is everything and more that I was hoping it would be.
I will leave you with two warnings though:
(1) Without going into a mile-long story, please beware of non-corporate Verizon stores. The one I went to today had no idea what was going on and just screwed things up.
(2) Also beware of syncing, once you get your phone. If you are not careful, you will sync things that you don't really want all rolled into one place.
I realize this should be in a different thread, but once you all get your DI's you may not take the time to read any warnings in a different thread 'til it's too late.

Well, to be clear, I actually haven't "moved on" yet; I was only giving my impression of what it seems like when folks cross over.
You'll know for sure when I get the call. I'm actually hoping it's today (I'm a 5/24 in eastern PA, so I'm cautiously optimistic).
