Date you ordered and received the phone vs. "will ship by" date

Any other 6/8 orderers still being told 6/29? Are we all being effected by the delay?

Also, how to we get signed up somewhere online to check our order status? As far as I know, the only way to check is to call. Am I wrong?

I'm also 6/8 and when I called cs on Thursday I was still told that 6/29 is my ship date.
But who the hell really knows.
I'm gonna stay optimistic until Wed.
 
Just joined android forum. I ordered the DINC on 6/5 with 611 and was told i had a ship date of 6/25 yesterday!!! I was told something about a 5 day delay but really they have no clue when we will get these phones and that came from CSR, she said hopefully next week lol. I will call again today to see if any updates. Anyone else heard anything yet that ordered on 6/5?
 
Ordered DI 6/1 been lied to for 25 days still no shipping confirmation. Order canceled 6/26. one more phone out there for a lucky person. Have fun.

So I actually gave up and sat down with a glass of wine...lol....well I call early this morning and was told "No tracking number".......grrrrrrrr.....but




SHE SAID IT SHOWED THAT IT SHIPPED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Sorry could not contain my excitement!

Order in store: June 4
Estimated arrival: June 24
2nd Estimated arrival: June 30
New Shipment date: June 25
Actual shipment date: June 25 but no tracking number yet so we will see!
 
I ordered mine and it said it would be delivered the next day. Found out a week later when I called that they were out of stock and I'd have to wait 7 - 10 days :(

To be fair though, there has been a country wide shortage of desires. Got it now though so all is good!
 
I'm quite tardy to the party. I ordered my incredible on 6/13 and was told in store that it would be 2-3 weeks. I figured that was BS so I called in... I'm scheduled for 7/12 shipping date. I've only called once for an update and it still stands there.

I'm seriously considering canceling and preordering a Droid X. Reviews are starting to pop up now and they are quite positive. That said, I don't want to carry a computer monitor in my pocket wherever I go and I like the smaller form factor so that may not fly.

I did play with an incredible in the store for about 45 minutes and it is a great phone.. Either way, I'm anxious to get a droid OS phone.

I hope you get your tracking info...those reps told me that mine shipped Thursday night, no such thing occurred. They all seem to say what they think you wanna hear. I hope you get it though!

It did ship and I got my tracking info!!!!!!!

THE FED-EX FACILITY THAT MY PHONE IS SITTING IN RIGHT NOW IS 18 MINS AWAY..........BUT THEY'RE CLOSED :(

I will just wait until it's delivered on Tuesday. Good Luck everyone getting your shipping/tracking info, sure as hell took me a while.

Number of times I called *611 - 28 times.
Number of times I ran my head into the refrigerator - 106 times.

Yeah if it truly has shipped I think you are one of the first 6/4 orders that have. Hate to be a little bit of a pessimist, but if they were going off the "official" ship by dates, and since 6/4 was supposed to ship yesterday according to that schedule, they might have told you it has shipped based on that...
 
I think its hilarious that some people cancelled their order after waiting a whole month when they were just days away. I'm actually laughing out loud.
 
2 things:

1. Please dont take anything customer service says right now. They have no idea. It is obvious that updating the computers is not their #1 priority. They seem to be 1-2 days late at most right now. Before they were 2-4 days early, so moving the dates back 5 days doesn't mean much. Just means they will be off by only 1-2 days.

2. It isn't bait and switch if they tell you ahead of time and give you the option to cancel at no charge to you. HTC is obviously doing everything they can to get Incredibles to the customer. They are not trying to save money here, they are trying to get phones out to the customer.

Bonus: Once your phone arrives, get it plugged in to charge ASAP!!!!! Make sure appbrain has all the apps you need on a list so they can speed up the download process. IT IS WORTH THE WAIT!!!

I'm a 6/5'r and the CSR was amazed with the knowledge base I had and they are now well aware that their not talking to idiots when we call in to question where our phones are at. BS answers didn't work well with me! I was told that my phone has the chance to be delayed up to 5 days. All CSR's received an email stating this. The delays are random and will now affect everyone. She also stated this delay will only affect people with ship dates of 6/22 - 6/28. Don't kill the messenger on this ones. Overall, I have no clue when I'll get my phone. Hopefully it will ship by wednesday, because if it doesn't, due to the Holiday, I won't receive my phone until 7/6. At this point I might as well wait for the Droid X. Stay Strong Peeps!

Also, She stated the error was due to the warehouse needing to double check the contents of the incredible boxes. Some people are receiving 2 2g cards, while others are not receiving any. So she said they have to double check everything. I thought that was BS!
