Date you ordered and received the phone vs. "will ship by" date

What a hoot! 6/10 here. We will be lucky if the stuff in our freezers is still good by the time we get our phones. lol
 
yea, there's mostly ice cream in there. I don't think it will see 7/1. lol
 
After all the years of intensive reseach by scholars and archeologists alike, I alone have discoverd the true meaning of the Mayan calendar. December 21 2012 is my true projected shipping date.
 
order the dinc on 6/5 called couple of hours ago was told by a CRS that it was suppose to ship yesterday duh! but also said that it showed on my account that it should ship monday and receive by tuesday. we will see
 
I just happened to glance at the top of this screen...

My rear end is here - a little later than planned, a lot more tired than expected and a bit more sunburned than I had hoped for but I finally got all the crap done I needed to and wanted to check in with the family.
I see that everyone played nice at least.

My last few weeks were like a roller coaster ride..

Up - Got wifey to agree to get new phones, and also to the phones I wanted!!:D
Down - Back Ordered and would ship on 6/23
Up - Found the Seido batteries and cases on Amazon for cheap
Down (multiple) - Calling VZW about order and getting run around
Up - Amazon order have been delivered to mailbox ( according to tracking #s)
Down - Mailman put package in parcel box, but didnt leave me key to open the box.
Up - Received tracking numbers for phones.
Down - not over night
Up - USPS supervisor and mailman said he would bring packages to door
Down - Mailman says he put 2 packages in the parcel box and the key in my mailbox
DOWN - KEY STILL NOT IN MY BOX! Where the F is the KEY!
Up- May get phones before scheduled delivery date... I HOPE!

BUT when you do get your shipping notice you will find that it makes your entire day better! (I know its really really hard to make it through the wait but I have it on good authority that the phone is phenomenal)

I called VZW on Friday about the phones, the lady tells me she thinks maybe they would ship by 6/28. 2 hrs later, I got the VZW email with the tracking number. So, I think that was 2 days after the promised ship date.

But once you get that tracking number... life gets better. Unless you have a idiot for a mailman!

I'll live through it all I'm sure lol. It's hearing about the Dinc that makes me so impatient. I KNOW I'm going to love it. Being pushed back and then the holiday making it worse is hard to take. I should have ordered it earlier.. my fault.

Wow this thread keeps growing by leaps. I had been watching since about page 50 or so. I joined on 6/23 the thread was on page 80 something.


For those waiting. I just say. Once you get the tracking info you will feel so good. Tracking info received 6/25. 2 day shipping. Yet i still have almost three days to wait but it feels so good knowing.

Good luck y'all. I going to set back and read entertaining stories about csr's.

Not sure I like bein up so early!! BUT, the good thing is that I can sleep in the car later....this family memeber is goin for some fun tonight in Atlantic City!
