Oh we understand, there's 132 pages of people who feel it. Now of course when this thread was started by soleilvie he had ordered 5/9 ND RECEIVED INC 5/13!!!!
I wonder if he/she knew what this little thread would grow into? I've been posting on this thread since 6/12 but it feels like months, i made friends,(some good ones) and an enemy:cool: and literally Laughed Out Loud more times than i can count.I think it would be fitting for anyone that our little nut house(because WE have taken it over from soleilvie, just as the next group will inherit it from us) has helped coop or made laugh to head over to post # 1(we're on #6598ish) on just hit the thanks button for soleilvie. Perhaps a meaningless gesture but still, a gesture all the same. Just my 2 cents i guess

I didn't get the email but I got a survey after emailing Verizon and in the survey I complained about the wait for this phone and some supervisor called me the next day and took $50 off my bill. That was cool. Still want my phone more than I wanted to save $50 but hey, I'll take it.
 
Time for me to call it a night. I hope tomorrow is as productive as the past two days.
With all the Dincs shipping recently there is actual hope for us lost souls in the pit.

I am waiting for that day i get my droid. Right now i can only dream of it. ordered june26. anyone want to guess when it will come?
 
I just got home tonight and my accessory bundle is here. All in all I have 4 screen protectors, two skins, one leather case, one home charger, one car charger and one sync cable. Only problem is I ordered in store on 6-12 with an estimated ship date of Friday 7-9. Still have over a week at best and if shipping is late an extra weekend to boot. Been watching this thread constantly trying to estimate my actual ship date based on current deliveries. I know this is futile but I do it anyway. If anyone would have told me a month ago that I would be doing this I would have said they were crazy. If it wasn't for you all I would be feeling like the crazy one. Congrats to all who have received their phones.
 
So 6/7 in store order here... (original ship date of 6/28) from ohio... PRAYING with all these other 6/7 orders goin out that i may get lucky and just for fun i called 611 and try to listen to my upgrade... it says "we are transferring you to better assist you (or something like that)" then I log into my online acct and it says my info is not available... the way i see it this could be very good or very bad haha... anyone else experience this?
 
oh and.... why didnt i talk to someone?? apparently customer service is closed at 2 am on a Thurs morning... who would have thought

Hey i also ordered on the 26!... I think i am going to walk in To my local verizon store on the 15th and cancel my Dinc.. And tell them to hand me a nice shiny Droid X :D

Anyone know FOR SURE. that i can get it in store on the 15th.... please... i need some Hard Evidence... The csr told me today that PRE ORDERS.... started on july 15th.... i wanted to cry.. lol.

please someone let me know.. thanks!

Also do we expect a long wait? if any? for the droid X? sorry for all the questions. :(
 
9 days (counting today) till my ship date...the wait is begginning to take it's toll. My brother sits there happily day to day with his moto droid and at this point I just want a smart phone.

Nope I haven't received one of those emails and I wasn't really expecting one either actually. It would be nice if Verizon started to compensate anyone who had to wait 3+ weeks but we'll see. And I hope your math is right about the shipping on Saturday haha I'm still thinking 7/8 is the earliest we'll see the grail delivered.

i'll join this race as well! (also 6/10). and i haven't received the email (or heard anything) from the big V so far... getting so close i can almost taste it!
 
Good Morning, all... Well the last couple of days have shown some real progress as far as shipping notifications and deliveries so I'm hoping the trend continues. I'm hoping that Verizon has been picking up the pace and trying to fill everyone's order. Sure, it's still a pain in the a$$ to have to wait this long, but I keep telling myself that all of the others say it's totally worth it! :p So until my delivery I'm gonna continue to think good thoughts for all of us!
