Date you ordered and received the phone vs. "will ship by" date

Yea, I love my baby. I think I will get to work on it tonight and just go until I pass out.

I gotta go get ready, we are going to look at some houses this evening. Hopefully when I check back tonight there will be lots of shipping notification reports.

Thank man; it's been people like you that have helped get us thru the waiting game and now we can almost rejoice as much as the ones that have received theirs already. Hopefully the Fed Ex truck doesn't suffer the tragedies you've been showing with some of your pics.lol :D

Why wouldn't they ship on Mondays? I've never heard that. I have definitely received packages from Fed Ex on Mondays.

I had read on both this forum and after searching on google that fedex does ship on saturdays, but not on sunday or monday.

No matter how many times I hit refresh, the FedEx page still says in transit. In transit from where?? It's already come from Memphis to Indy. Transit needs to be happening to my house already! Looks like I'll have to wait until tomorrow to see my little phone of beauty:mad:

no matter how many times I read this thread/forum I still am not a second closer to getting my dinc, so I'm going to try to head away from the computer for the afternoon - I hope to see lots of shipping notices tonight. :)

Not that I dont' love you all..I do. I just need to get out of the house.

Late update! I received mine on the 8th of July, I got it all set up that night and it is awesome except for one thing. I now am getting the random reboots like so many others on these forums. I don't have any of the crapware apps installed (no task killers or any useless ones) I have goggles, a barcode scanner, nfl mobile, and a couple of others.

It only reboots once in a while and it seems to be when I hit the internet button, or anything that causes the GPS to find my location. Not all the time I use GPS or internet, but using these sometimes causes a reboot. I am going to call Verizon and see what they suggest.

Voice calls are good, no drops or reboots during. I talked to my son who is in Italy for almost an hour last night and no drops and great voice quality. (he called me using his Skype). So hopefully this rebooting won't cause me to have to get a replacement and start the waiting all over. I will keep you posted.

And to all of you who sent me thanks for my years of service, I am truly thankful for the kind words! I forgot to say that a few pages back, so thank you all very much for your appreciation.

Thankfully I had to go out this morning and didn't have to be tortured with the FedEx wait....but now the wait for charge will be tough!

similar happened to me first day or 2. After day 2 it just quit doing it. started running smooth as hell, weird though.
 
If your local FedEx office is anything like ours, and it was shipped Friday, you'll be waiting the entire 2 days they shipped it via. If we ship something across town via FedEx, and do it 2nd day, it gets there in 2 days. If we ship it ground, they get it NEXT DAY. Only time we ever get 2nd day packages sooner is if we have a next-day air package coming in the day before the 2nd day is due, then they bring both for whatever reason.

That being said, I'll be getting my DInc tomorrow as well, it's just sitting the fedex warehouse in Charlotte, NC about a half mile from OUR office in Charlotte... Too bad they won't let our manager down there pick it up off the truck, he lives a few miles from me and I could have it tonight. I guess 24 more hours is nothing compared to the 1 month wait, lol.

I've got my 1500mah battery charged and ready to go, all the utils set up on my laptop to root it, now I just need the phone, lol.

This is sooo crazy!!! My phone is at the fedex site again! Yes again!!!! It arrived there saturday early morning then this morning said on the truck now it says at the site. Wth!!!! I called and they are going to let me know whats going with the pkg and if i can just pick it up. Arrgghhhh....

Well I hope it stops, I still have my 30 day window for exchange if i need it. But it has rebooted at least 4-5 times a day since Friday morning so I am hoping it will stop soon.

I definitely feel your pain as I also have been waiting a month for this thing. But in 24 hours we'll be the proud owners of the Dinc and jobless because we're playing so much with our phones that we don't get any work done. LOL
 
Having had my Incredible for almost a week, great phone - a few things I'm not fond of but great phone none the less.

Your next agonizing endeavor after waiting for your phone to arrive is the adventure of rooting it. But that is also worth the frustration. Wifi-Tether is great.
