Date you ordered and received the phone vs. "will ship by" date

It's herrrre!

My kids played keep away with the phone because they thought I wasn't breathing. Then they made me promise to empty my voice mailbox before they would give it to me. Little did they know I would have promised almost anything to get that phone in my hands.

It's charging as I type. :D

congrats, my re-order was on the 8th of July, so I am 16 days away unless something gets sped up.
 
got my hopes up when I saw a package inside the house on the freezer. turns out it was just a table cloth my parents had ordered.
its good to see the 6/24s shipping out.
 
Monday seems so far away! Good thing I'll be away this weekend to distract me from refreshing the tracking page every 5 seconds. Gonna leave a note on my door on Monday for FedEx to leave it (indirect signature required). Hope they do!!! This is torture! Can't wait to ditch my crapberry and go droiddddd!
 
After I got a response regarding shipping date, I got a little more curious and asked about the display. A representative replied stating that "the phones are still being made with the Amoled screen"
 
yeah I emailed htc for the heck of it and got back essentially the same thing.

"I understand how important it can be to receive information on the Touch Screen that comes with the Verizon Incredible. The Verizon Incredible comes with a 3.7-inch AMOLED touch-sensitive screen with 480 X 800 WVGA resolution. No information has been released from HTC on changing the touch screen for the Verizon Incredible. Please keep updated on the HTC Website to obtain information on future HTC Devices or changes to be made through HTC."
 
i see we are back to the amoled debate from yesterday, unless they send you some notifcation that your sku is different or there is a notice in the box about the screen, you got the amoled.
 
Arghh!!! I left the signed note on the door asking Fedex to leave the package today (their 2nd attempt).
I've been refreshing their website all day and they didn't leave it! Says signature required...
Hopefully I can make it to Fedex and pick it up tonight before they close.
So aggravating...

Sorry to hear that :( You must be fuming! Was yours Direct Signature Required or Indirect Signature Required?? My tracking says Indirect so I'm hoping the note will work!

Did you leave your own note or the signature form that they left?
 
I ordered mine 6/21 and decided to jump int Inc ship for the X because it looked like the Inc would never show up.

So, I got the X yesterday and it's great and I was out in the yard and Fedex came with my Inc. Awesome. I had to refuse it. Haha, how weird.

That's bizarre....for a few moments, you had two of the most sought after devices in the US!

And yes...my valet opened up, and I can finally say that my new Droid Incredible is charging away on my desk....even though all the tracking info said it came from West Chester, PA...the return info said Fort Worth, TX...weird.

So...my estimated ship date was supposed to be July 20th, it shipped yesterday...and my ordeal is finally over...The Incredible is a lot lighter without that stupid security cable holding it down. :)

I haven't even started playing with it yet, and I can tell everyone still waiting, that just opening that box is worth the wait...good luck to you all, and I'll see ya in the other forums! (Though, since I'm a recovering junkie, I'll probably stop by this thread periodically to see how things are moving)

Back from work! (Only to go to my other job in an hour).

See that some shipments were made.. a 6/24! Nice! Will people still be receiving shipment notifications on the weekends? If so, I think we'll have some 6/26's by Monday.. If not, Tuesday for sure. The wait is almost over! Can't believe it's been 3 weeks..

I wouldn't count on that 6/26 notification this weekend. I'm a 6/24er and haven't heard sh*t yet.
 
not sure why someone would turn away a brand new inc over the x, but i guess that is one more that will go back into circulation to cut the ship times, so i guess thank you.
