Date you ordered and received the phone vs. "will ship by" date

It shipped!!!!! Not 2 hours after being told it wasn't coming for another week it shipped!!!! Omg omg omg omg omg omg omg omg omg omgom gomgomgomgomgomgomgomgogmogmogmgomgomgomgogmogmgomgomgom

Now I have to get the fedex guy to bring it early since the store screwed me with 2day. Its coming from PA, it will be in the sort facility tomorrow.

Oh, and that fedex trick is BS, its not showing with the location code and order number even after it shipped.

And for those who don't know, I re-ordered instore 7/8 9:34AM with expected ship date 8/5.

I am much more hopeful and you guys have carried me through this. Who would have thunk that a phone could get us all this twisted, LOL!

Please please please be a good phone and not the lemon I got last time.

I have also decided I am going to post in this thread until it is locked, unlike Brian who left us, LOL.
 
How in the world are all these July orders being shipped and my 6/28 is still a no show? I am not going to be able to see it til 7/26 anyways because I am out of town now, but its BS that everyone else who ordered after me is getting theirs first. I also kinda need to know when it will be shipped so I can have my house sitter aware of about what time to expect it....

VZW CS watch out here I come :P

are you sure the order hasn't been cancelled or lost in the system? i called every day for two straight weeks, perhaps i annoyed them into it.

Yes this is Fing BS! I ordered June 29th and ppl in July are getting it before me! I hate Verizon and everything it stands for. If I dont get a shipping email tonight and have to wait another weekend I will freak out.

I hate Verizon and everything it is about. I should have got the iphone

NY oh and @ Attorney.... My tracking info from fedex did have the location code and order # in the shipment facts section listed as reference.
 
Ah, rage. :)

It's hard for me to be angry when I don't see the whole picture. There must be a few technical problems, or as previously mentioned, it could have a lot to do with region and which warehouses are receiving x amount of Dincs, and the shipment delays between the two, which could have nothing to do with Verizon and more to do with transportation companies or Fedex, or...

So on, and so forth.

Could be problems in their order system too.

Even the best company ain't perfect. And certainly Verizon is a far slice away from perfect. But man, don't let this ruin your day. You'll get your phone, and from the sounds of it, we'll all be getting our phones before the promised ship date, the one we agreed to when we handed over our hard earned cash.

Patience! It sucks, but it's better than letting it absolutely ruin your day! :)
 
Does anyone know why whenever I call cs it takes them FOREVER! I don't really understand why it takes them so long or what they are doing. Shouldn't they be able to just pull up my account or something? Does this happen to others that call or is it just me? Its like they can't find any record of me ever even ordering a phone or something and then they just make something up.
 
Ok well turns out mine shipped yesterday and will be at my house today. Now to get the house sitter to be able to pick it up. Told her to leave a note if she wouldn't be home and also a waterproof box to put it in incase it rains. Then I will get her to plug it in for me when I am headed home so it will be fully charged when I get there :)
 
i think that all the phones go out by next Monday, I really mean that!

I hope all of our phones are in tip top shape and then we can all start a new thread trading tips and secrets.

Oh and my phone arrived guys!!! I have it and it is charging NOW!! It is so hard not to just turn it on and start using it!!!
 
Well,

SO i was sitting in my room Playing in the National Championship against TCU on College Football 11 for my PS3, I hear my doorbell. Its fedex. I was like ohh well my mom must have ordered something. I saw it was from Vzw. I open it, its my Dinc! I got a lil tingle in my nose and knew it could be the work of saint nick! I am surprised. Needless to say its on the charger. awaiting to be used later.

Order Date: June 29
No Email or 611 Update at all
Delivered July 22nd at 2pm EST
Estimated Delivery On or before July 27th.


I was amazed I didnt receive anything at all email wise. Nevertheless Im a happy camper.

OMG I agree. I will flip a gasket if there is something wrong with this phone. I have waited to darn long for it to have a problem.
 
ordered 7/8 and my daughter just called and said she rec'ed an email that is was shipped from PA @ 11am today.....should be here tomorrow, 7/23.....78-).


why she rev'ed the email? only verizon knows

The only reason I don't have an iPhone is because AT&T is so much worse than any other carrier. In order of not sucking (from my personal experience):
1. Verizon (with them 4 years)
2. Sprint (although they are seriously pissing me off over rebates right now) With them 9.5 years)
3. Nextel (yeah, they are sprint now) (used them for 1 year)
4. AT&T (Tried to use them a little over 1 year)

While I ranked Verizon the best, they still suck balls.

Well, Now I look back at it Im just mad because they said I would get an Email when it shipped and everything and nothing. Good thing I was home today.

My friend has the iPhone and it gets amazing service everywhere now. I really wanted it for the video chats to people.


And I have a Macbook Pro i7 completely decked out and I love it. I cant get enough of Macs.
