Date you ordered and received the phone vs. "will ship by" date

phone is here and is now charging, but it must have sat on a fedex truck all weekend, the box was hot, the phone was hot, and I wonder if its all melted inside.

Sigh, its always something.
 
I was thinking the same thing about mine arriving tomorrow, its been sitting on the truck all weekend baking i bet

Estimated delivery date shows 7/26, but that isn't 2 day shipping if FedEx ships on Saturdays. Can anybody explain?

FedEx site shows it sitting at my front door. WOOHOO! I have an e-boner! :P Now, let's just hope it's the correct phone with no manufacturer's defects or shipping damage!

This afternoon at work is going to DRAG!

Mine is sitting at the nearest FedEx center, called them this morning because on the tracking site, it had a message that said "not scheduled for delivery today", and they said I can't pick it up or do anything, I just have to wait until tomorrow.
Painful.

Ouch. My condolences. Mine just left West Chester, PA, will be in CT sometime tomorrow, and my doorstep by 3 pm. Love having Tuesdays off :cool:

I have a feeling I am in the same boat. Mine is sitting at the local facility (although I don't have the 'not scheduled for delivery today' message on the tracking). It isn't scheduled to be delivered until tomorrow. I was hoping it would magically show up today. But I suspect that it won't. :-(
 
It's HERE!!!!!! Had an 11:00 appt. It was delivered at 11:08! Got a call from Fedex this a.m. to get my complete address. I asked about an estimated time of day and the man told me late afternoon. Thank God I left a signed note. Woo Hoo!

One question....in the midst of installing the battery and case, the phone came on. I cut it back off and plugged it in. Have I messed up?

I have been reading that you really can't mess up the lithium ion batteries, just turn it off and charge till green then go.

I am about to take mine off the charger, its green, and from my reading, lithium ion doesnt need to be primed.
 
Just got my DInc!!!! :)
Took forever to open b/c of my cast. But finally got it charging at 12:15.
So at 8:15 I can finally play around with it.

First time post - though I'm sure it won't be my last. Just purchased my first Android phone last week - the HTC Incredible - and am anxiously awaiting its arrival.

Ordered (online): 7/19/10
Estimated Shipping Date: 8/3/10
No Notification on Shipping Date (as of 7/26/10)

Unlike a previous poster, I don't expect to see my Incredible this week, but I'm thinking it will ship late this week and arrive on or before the previously estimated ship date of 8/3/10.

I'm not surprised to see a lack of shipping notifications today so far - partially because we're in normal working hours right now and people are working, and partially because a lot of companies don't initiate shipments or have pick-ups until later in the day, especially with FedEx. Maybe we'll see a burst of notifications this evening or tomorrow.

Anyways, can't wait to get my Incredible.
 
My Incredible was delivered to my home today. I had to take a long lunch and run home and grab it. It's been charging from my pc but I've been playing with it already. Simply amazing! This thing rocks!
 
AggieTeacher - did you just leave a not with your signature for Fedex? Mine should be arriving today and I did the same, but I wasn't sure it they would actually deliver it or not.

I left a note and it was put in my garage. They will leave it if you tell them where and sign it.
 
Thanks! And just like that, I get the nice green fedex check mark that says its been delivered!!! I can't beleive its actually there! Now to rush home and get it before someone steals it off the porch :)
