Date you ordered and received the phone vs. "will ship by" date

I always bill to my account. The reason why you don't see it on your current bill is because that bill is already processed for the previous month. For example my bill is due every 2nd of every month. I ordered my DINC on the 13th of this month, June 2nd is when my next bill is due, but since it is already processed (represents the previous month), the DINC purchase will not show up until July 2nd.
 
Just ordered mine through telesales. The rep said it would ship on June 13.
 
ugh this sucks, i ordered on 15th and it said it should arrive by june 1st on site when i ordered, i guess that's unlikely to happen at this point :(

I ordered mine 5-19. Just got one at BestB and canceled with VW without issue. Just buy the phone. If the VW CSR will not cancel it you can always refuse the package from FedEx.

Great. Ordered mine on 5/12 online and still waiting - original confirm indicated a ship date on or before 5/28. At least I haven't gotten an e-mail telling me that it won't ship until 6/3 (although if it doesn't get to me before Friday it might as well be 6/3). :(
 
Well, good news and bad news for me.

I'm in NY. Ordered on 5/13 via phone. Looks like it was late in the day and was tagged with a 5/14 order date.

Just got the confirmation email that the phone shipped from West Chester.

But, the bad news is that changed it to 2nd day (even though they confirmed 3 times it was next day).

Still, I'm getting it before the long weekend, so I'm very happy!

I'm still not sure. A couple of times they told me 5/13, but the last time, she said it was 5/14. Not sure who was right.

Also, fedex says, 2 day, by 7pm. It's going to a business on a Friday before a holiday weekend. They better show up before 5!

Glad for you lexluthor, but very frustrated to see 5/14 ship dates going out to eastern customers, and 5/11 orders in the midwest and west still waiting to be filled.

I know that I'm impatient, but that really frosts my @#$! :eek:

Debit card doesn't show the charge till 5/19...

so...... I guess I will have to wait until 6/3....

Because, as it looks.... most of these orders are going out about 13 - 16 days from the process date....

One would also think that this may shrink to a 10 - 14 days from order, soon....

So I'm not the only one who got screwed with this "payment taken on" date. I ordered mine early am 5/13. They didn't place the authorization hold until 5/17 and didn't actually take the money until 5/19

I remember clearly the day I ordered it said the ship by was 6/1. I see others who ordered the same day are getting theirs this week, yet I keep being told I'm on the 5/17 schedule cuz thats when the order was completed..... I thought the order was completed when I got an email a few hours after confirming payment that said thank you for your order....

I'm wanting this phone less and less and the days go by
*but then I take another look at it online.....oh how she toys with my emotions* lol

I ordered early on 5/12... ALL the reps I spoke to had my order date in their system as 5/12... I ordered at 8:30 am and had a confirmation email within a couple minutes of the order...

My bank statement shows this in the transaction title:

05/13VZWRLSS*M

I wonder if that refers to the day my bank received/processed it?

My bank posted the transaction on my account on 5/14, but that's nothing to do with Verizon.

And so I continue waiting. Still no email.

I got my email within 5 minutes of finishing the order...

But, I bet I get locked into the 5/19 order date.

Now that we got Kwame behind bars, all is good in the D again! :D

Just be patient, the Incredible is totally worth the wait! Haven't put it down since I got it the 29th despite a few issues I've had.:cool:

All Hail Judge Groner!!!

I know it will be worth it, but after waiting forever to take the 'smartphone' dive I started out with the TP2 (I was a long-time iPAQ PDA user and it finally died). Returned it on day 29 because I just couldn't handle the bugginess, but it got me hooked. Now I have been sitting with my old LG 8350 waiting for the Incredible to show up for 2+weeks and it looks like I will be without it for the long weekend.

Being an MSU football fan is the only thing that compares with the frustration...........

Haha! I'm a fellow Spartan alum but I think being a Lions fan tops all!

They keep telling me 6/1 and they also went ahead and extended my worry free guarantee by 15 days, which was totally cool. Hang in there!

I can't do that - I have been Lions-free for a long time. My constitution just can't take it.

Hanging. So they extended your worry-free guarantee by 15 days? I guess I just assumed that they wouldn't START it until I actually activated the phone, regardless of when I ordered it. Guess I had better call Big Red once I get the thing....
 
Hmm, not sure how I fit into this whole charging scheme. I didn't give a credit card number -- I told them to put it on my service bill. I wonder if that bypasses the whole (alleged) problem of when they charge your card?

I got the phone in store the day it was released. I've been having issues with random reboots, having to do battery pulls when the browser freezes up and some poor signal issues. I called CS on the 13th and at the time they told me they'd overnight it and I'd get it the next day. I knew that wasn't going to happen. So, since I'm still waiting I called yesterday to see what was going to happen after my 30 days were up and receive the replacement phone. They said they were going to have a supervisor note on my account to extend my 30 days an additional 15 so I could play around with the replacement to make sure it met my needs. Can't complain about that!
