Date you ordered and received the phone vs. "will ship by" date

Well I thought I would go into Fedex.com and search by reference number, using my order number, and mine shipped this morning!

Order date: 5-13 (phone)
Ship date: 5-27 (no email notification, yet)
Ship type: 2 day air
Ship from: Memphis
Destination: Tampa, FL

Won't get it till Tuesday :(. But atleast I know it is on the way!

Edit: Just got my shipping email.

How did you get a reference number, all I have when I order on the phone is a 4 digit order number, do you know what the location code is for ordering over the phone.

We here in MI feel your pain! Chances are that it is shipping today. Call CS and they can tell you.

Have you called and verified that it hasn't shipped? Reading through this, i see alot of people saying they never got a notice, but that it is shipped.

The reference number should be the location code "_" order number. Mine is:

P175401_000###### (# being my order number, 6 digits).
 
Just rec'd my shipping notication for a 5/14 order that was done in store located in MN. Shipped 2-day delivery and it should arrive on Jun 1 b/c of the holiday weekend.

I guess the next best thing to actaully getting the phone on my B-day is getting the notification that it's on the way on my B-day...

Edit: Forgot to mention mine is coming from Memphis...

It'll be at the top of your receipt if you ordered in store.

Just checked mine and it has shipped!

Order date: 5/13 (afternoon) (Verizon Store in middle GA)
Ship date: 5/27 (9:43)
Arrival date 6/1 (Before 7:00)
From: Memphis, TN

Anyway I can change to overnight?

Glad for you bluejeangirl, but I am about to lose it. Your delivery date is 5/28 - ordered mine the same day and still no tracking # and CS says delivery won't be until 6/1. Amazing how different the Midwest shipments are.
 
can i please get my shipping notification already?!?! any thoughts as to when i will?

I *THINK* this is the Memphis location code... not sure...
I didn't order from a store, ordered online, and this is the first half of my reference number, and my email says "Sales Location - M722801"

Shipping Ref # M722801_00XXXXXXX

The seven X's are the "Sales Order" number from my shipment email - this order number is not the same as the order # I got whe I got the orignal processed email.

So Ref # will be Location, underscore, 00, then sales order number
 
NOOOOOO!!!!! Just got my shipping notification. Scheduled to arrive next tuesday :(

Time to get on the phone and see if they can change it to overnight.

"Ship by" date: 5/29
Shipped 5/27 - 9:04 AM (received email 11:12 AM)

You checking with the reference # on fedex? I still haven't gotten my email but I know it has shipped because of the reference number.

No - I don't have one yet and CS didn't yet either, although they did tell me that it was 'scheduled' to ship today. I tried my original order # on FedEx but that didn't work. VERY depressing.

From experience I can say with relitive certainty that Fed ex will not re-route the package if you call them. They will only respond to the shipper. Long story short, my Inc was shipped to an address I am no longer at and VZW was able to call them and have it re-routed.
 
For people who don't want to wait till Tuesday like me I just called FedEx and if the package gets to your local distribution center and is all ready for delivery out on Tuesday you can go and pick it up Friday. Some centers are even open Saturday so there's a good chance it'll be ready by then. Just track your package and then call FedEx's 1-800 number and they can tell you if you'll be able to go get it.
 
Figured I'd chime in...

Ordered: 5/14 @ 6:40pm
Located: Northeast Alabama
New customer, paid in full when it was ordered
Ordered a Droid and an Incredible - Droid arrived last week, no word on Incredible

No shipping confirmation yet, can't located on fedex's website via reference number (using the template posted above - [location code]_00[order number]).

I'm going to call on my lunch break and see if there is any new news.
