Date you ordered and received the phone vs. "will ship by" date

Newbie here. Ordered in store 5/6 and received 5/12. Phone was DOA. Had to return to get a new phone, which I have been waiting for since 5/14. Shipping notice today for 2-day shipping. Disappointed they wouldn't spring for overnight given the delay, but what to do. So:

Ordered 5/14 via phone rep
Shipping notice 5/28 (no tracking info - called)
Two-day shipping, due to arrive Wed 6/2
Located in Southwestern MA

Hope it is worth the wait. It was hard to have it and not have it work.

Just showed on Fedex for a June 1 delivery.

All we can do is wait. Although he did say that its possible to get it next week with the way their kicking em out. I certainly wont hold my breath. Another impatient 5/24 here as well. Ordered over the phone and was wondering if there was any way to track the order. Oh well!
 
Ordered in store (Bowie, Maryland) on 5/15.

Received the "it's been shipped" notification earlier today. It's being shipped from West Chester, PA and ETA is June 1st. Already told my boss I'll be working from home that day.

So far, the only thing "Incredible" has been the wait! :D

From expierence dont believe them I bought the phone the 13th Called them every day after about 2 weeks of waiting and they told me there was no tracking number...

Today I got it in, the funny thing is I got off the phone with a verizon CSR 10 min before the fed ex guy came here. I wanted to call back and go crazy on them.
 
Well, got my email from verizon today. Looks like it will be here Wednesday. Bah! Today would have been nice. Ok, Ok, I won't complain. Just glad it's on a truck or plane somewhere headed in my direction.

Ordered 5/15 in the local corporate store.
Was told a ship date of 06/04.
Shipping email today 05/28 roughly at 3:00 PM local time
Picked up in Memphis TN
Arrival day - Wednesday Jun. 02 before 7:00 PM.
Shipping to Austin, TX

FWIW, I had them ship to work so that someone would sign for it. When I got the email today it was like, oh no, what if the email is late and it's already on the truck for delivery today?? I left work early today. No such luck. Now just hope it comes in before 5 PM on Wed so i don't have to stay late at work. Now just hope the just slightly wrong work address wont throw off the FedEx guy. The shipping address shows building number as an apartment #. Gotta hope FedEx knows the difference :). My company is the only one with that name in the little business park we are in.

Thanks to everyone on here who posted info. It did sorta help with the wait. I'm not a patient person, sigh. I tried to be a good boy and not call or bug anyone since I was getting more current info on this forum and a couple others I have been watching.

For those who have not gotten theirs yet. Hang in there, they are shipping them out. Bite a few more finger nails. Have an extra beer and burger this weekend.

I have no idea man, but he also said the latest date to receive phone will most likely be the 11th. :eek:

It was already posted on one of the forums that they sort the packages and cage them, so there's no simple way for them to go find it in all the mess. That's why they generally don't allow you to pick it up without it being put on the truck and/or at least one delivery attempt. You could call and ask since that never hurts.

I called and asked that it be sent today instead of Tuesday if possible, and they actually got my package sorted. They're actually getting it to the FedEx facility nearby so I can pick it up more conveniently. FedEx is seriously being really awesome about this. They never attempted delivery, but they're allowing me to pick it up. My case is probably not the norm, but you might get lucky.
 
Picked up my new phone from Fed Ex and its currently on the table charging. Downloaded my contacts off my BlackBerry into a CSV file and now I'm just waiting for the battery to charge up so I can turn it on.
 
OK SO NOT TO RAIN ON ANYONES PARADE BUT I GOT MY INCREDIBLE TODAY AND I ORDERED IT ON 5/18

ok so i got lucky and found one at my local best buy so i didnt get to enjoy my new in 2 credit but for the extra $100 to have it today i didnt care. if any one is in the las vegas area they still had one left at 3pm wheni left the store in henderson

on a side note when i called the store i ordered it from they tried to tell me there was nothing they could do to cancle my order that i would just have to wait and that if i tried to activate my new phone from best buy i wouldnt be able to and then she proceeded to tell me that the DINC fron best buy wasnt the sme as the one from verizon and that it was a different color i imediatly hung up the phone and dialed *611 and spoke to neil he was great told me all i would have to do is refuse the shipment when it came and my account would be credited and there would be no problem activating my new phone and he was right i was already talking on it befor i left the best buy

Well; I'm kinda anal when it comes to any type of rechargeable battery. Full charge before turning on and then two full discharge and recharge cycles.
 
I ordered mine on 5/18 and was told by the supervisor (loooong story) that the earliest it will be in my hand would be next Friday. We all know that 99% of them are full of it, but wouldn't that be great! lol

considering they covered 5/9 through 5/14-15 this week, and assuming the rate remains constant, you'll definitely have it by Friday.

I ordered on 5/20 myself, however. I may get it Friday, but a week Monday seems more likely.
 
Got mine around noon and haven't had a chance to post. Love it. Everyone who got it, enjoy the weekend with it. Everyone else, it's worth the wait.
 
Idk why guys but you might wanna try this. I had ordered my incredible on amazon and they stated it would be July till I got it ugh.. I couldn't get it at the verizon store cause I only had a little over two hundred and they wouldn't give me a temp phone even tho I already was excepted for an account. So I went to best buy 4 days ago and got a free phone just to get me off tmobile and I put 50 down to reserve an incredible and prayed it would come within 30 days. They couldn't promise it. To my surprise they called me today and told me they got a whole shipment in! So now I'm sporting my new phone and I'm in the best mood ever!
 
Guys! Guys! I got mine! Haha. Got a fedex tracking number via email when I woke up this morning. Overnighted from Memphis, TN to Knoxville, TN. Ordered 5/11.
 
So, finally got my phone today but i went thru hell. My wife was at home All day. call her to tell her that the phone left the warehouse so they should be there soon. I check FedEx website again and said delivery June 2 in big red letters. when I call FedEx they told me that no body answer. I am going crazy st this point. call my wife and she start telling me am sorry I was here and I didn't hear the door. she told me she was doing the zumba cd. when I call FedEx the guy very nice send a message to the driver and the driver was so nice to come back and drop the phone.of man. I gave the guy 10 dollars and told him to go and get a drink after work. what a service guys.

I had the same problem, but I just went and picked up the phone on my way home from work. Was the happiest 15 minute drive of my life.
