Date you ordered and received the phone vs. "will ship by" date

So after two weeks of stalking the forum while waiting for my Inc, I finally got it. Lol.

Date Ordered: 5/18/10
Date Recieved: 6/2/10
Shipped from Ft. Worth TX

I just started following this forum. I don't see the posts loosely related to shipping, waiting, undersupply and etc., to be far enough off topic to be an issue. Going forward, if there is an issue of things going too far astray, please let me know via PM (in case I'm not following closely enough) and I'll assist.

Date Ordered: 5/17 14:20 CT from Verizon Store downtown Chicago
Date Shipped: 6/2 from Memphis, TN FedEx Overnight standard
Estimated Delivery: 6/3

Estimated Ship Date when I ordered my phone I believe was up to 6/4.

Yay! Buh-bye Storm.

If I didn't have client work to do tomorrow, I'd so be taking a personal day!
 
Another longtime lurker of this thread...

I ordered online from VW on 5/18 (late evening, however...so it's probably more like a 5/19).

Nothing for me so far, but I'm excited to see some 5/18's being sent out!
Hoping I might see my shipping notification sometime tomorrow so I can play with the phone this weekend! The wait has been killing me!!
 
^^^ Ditto. I ordered at night on 5/18, receipt says 5/18, but online order status says 5/19. Eagerly awaiting my ship notification!
 
Well I feel really late to the party, and not fashionably. I ordered mine over the phone through VZ on 5/28 so I am guessing I will be well into June before I get mine. Anyone else around that date?

So far CS has told me three different stories; 1) That it would be shipped 6/4(DOUBT IT). 2) It would be shipped by 6/28, 3) I would get it shipped around 6/18 (This seems the most realistic). Initially when I had ordered it, online said it would be shipped by 6/16 as did the CS rep I ordered it from. I guess the positive is that I only paid $50 for it.
 
yeah I had to just call Amazon because I saw on there website that they are back order now, they assured me that my order will be going out tomorrow, so I guess I was one of the lucky few it, got it ordered before they ran out I ordered my early this morning, so no joy on amazon now:(

I ordered my DINC late on May 19th, so it was processed on the 20th, and I'm hoping it'll be here by the end of the week. I've already read the manual and purchased all of my accessories; I've never been so excited for a phone in my life. My BB Tour must know it's getting the boot, because as of this week, it started acting up. lol I have to admit, I check my email and this site constantly to get the updates on when phones are shipping and where.

I ordered mine on the 20th too. Im guessing they will probably ship out friday and get to us monday or tuesday

I placed my order 5/27 from the verizon site. Said "will ship by 6/17". I'm just using this time to gather info on the phone and figure out which accessories I want/need.

I am in the same boat with you -- I ordered on 5/21 as well.

I am really hoping it will come by 6/4 because I leave town on
6/7 for about 2 weeks! It would be great to have my new phone
for that. Also, if it does not come I am a bit worried they will try
to deliver it when I am away and thus this will fail because I am

I was a bit hopeful because I ordered online, I am a current VZ
customer and live in NJ (east coast seems to have better luck).
But from reading this thread today my hopes are dimming.

On a humorous note, when I walked out my front door this morning
I saw a package from FedEx about the perfect size for a phone!
My heart almost jumped out of my chest. I had read on the threads
where some people were getting deliveries without getting an
email notice. But then I thought for a moment ... they would never
deliver this without a signature ... and sure enough it was something
else I had ordered.

One other question. I know this does not belong in this thread, but
just wondering if one can be re-charging this phone and have it
operational (I.E. receive and make calls), similar to plugging your
laptop into an outlet and not using battery power?

Fedex came today for me too but wasn't the phone... I was excited till I realized what else came. Anyways I know where I am I have left a note saying "please leave package fedex" and signed the bottom. They usually leave them. I tend to break a phone every few months and wind up with a replacement. Also if you read the fedex website about indirect signatures it will explain the meaning.

I dunno but my receipt says HTC INC ADR6300 $249.99. I think they gave me a $50 discount for being upgrade eligible but it doesn't show on my receipt.

Ordered 5/19 @ 6:45 in a VZ store here in Oregon.
Just got off the phone w/ a nice CS lady who told me my ship date is 6/9. She also said that this phone will definitely be worth the wait. :)

I think we're all spending our time checking this great forum (and others, too). I've watched this simulator I don't know how many times and will do so again this evening, just to "refresh".

I also ordered on May 19th late. CS says it will ship by June 9th, but I'm hoping maybe it'll be early like so many of them have been. Of course, I'm out in the toolies on the west coast and we're always the last to get anything so... we'll see. I've already bought a screen saver, a Body Glove case, a 16 gb micro sd card and a stylus (just in case I get tired of fingerprints- ha) so I'm ready to go!

Oh, and I'm leaving my email program on all the time so I can tell when I get a new email. I'm pathetic. :p

Same here. No change in the order status on VW website. It's definitely been shipped though.
 
Finally got the tracking info purchased 5/17, shipped 6/2 two day shipping with estimated delivery of 06/4.

Congrats! Like I said, I ordered 5/17 via phone. Nothing yet, CS knows nothing about my status except I ordered 5/17. Do they pull orders throughout the day?
 
Another lurker on the forums here. I ordered in-store 5/17. No e-mail, nothing, nada yet. Then when I called the VZW store I purchased from, the guy said I would need to call back on friday to get a tracking number? lol wth. I hope it just shows up friday afternoon. :confused:
 
CS is useless for estimating wehn your phone will ship. I called them and asked, and they asked what day I ordered my phone, and then they told me the ship by date.

Pretty sure it's just a chart they have in the computer that lists the ship by date according to the order date.

Don't bother calling you won't learn anything.
 
Got mine today 9:30am ish. Ordered May 15th, Concord NH. My wife was home and put it on the charger for me so it was ready when I got home.

That's exactly what it is. They have a chart that says
ORDER DATE ESTIMATED SHIP-BY DATE

I got to the point where when I called to check, I'd say: "I know you have a chart that lists estimated ship-by dates according to the order date, but I was wondering if there was anything new, specific to my account, that you could relay to me?"

mine was overnighted and came through memphis i didnt even ask for overnight but thats was cool and then a 2GB memory card a little red usb card reader came with it!! iam pretty happy:)
