Help Daylight Savings is totally screwing with my phone

So my phone's been flipping back and forth between what time it is and what time it would be if we hadn't changed clocks. It's messing up the order of my text messages and my alarm. My friend with the EVO V is also having the same problem. I literally watched my clock change from 10:15 to 11:15 back to 10:15 within not even a second. I restarted my phone four or five times yesterday. This is becoming increasingly aggravating. Any fixes?

My phone has been ok, but I guess the only thing you can really do is manually set your time. Just go to Date & Time under settings and uncheck all the automatic settings.

Hi, just registered here to say I'm also having this problem.. I own the Evo 4G. The clock widget always displays one hour and two minutes behind the current time for a quick moment, then the widget animation quickly flips to the current time.
This unfortunately also effects my text messages. Whenever I receive them, their timestamp is an hour behind. But when I send a text, the correct time is applied. This is aggravating because every time I want to see their next text, I will have to scroll up all the texts I've sent to that person in the past hour. Now that OP is talking about it effecting his alarms, I fear this can happen to me as well.

The issue still arises (at least with the clock widget). I haven't tested if it still effects incoming texts, as it is 1:30 AM at the time of writing this, haha. But I'm going to assume it'll happen again, even with manual settings. Even with a set manual time (I tested it out by putting 6:05 PM). When I passed the lockscreen, it once again went an hour and 2min behind (5:03) at first, then flipped to 6:05.

Try 3D flip clock & weather by Droid27.

See if it's your system time or just the Sense widget screwing up now that we're off of daylight savings.

The first day I noticed that at one point, my clock went forward an hour again. I clicked the clock, refreshed the time, and haven't had a problem since.

That's just the way the widget works when you first unlock the phone, it's to give it a "sense" of movement like a real flip clock. It would have no effect on the time stamp, that's something else.
