Root Debugging question

Should I leave debugging on all the time or only when im attatching it to my PC? As of now I just leave it on.
 
I always do too. I had the black screen/brightness widget fiasco early on when the Fascinate was new and some ADB screencasting mighta fixed me up if debugging was enabled, instead of having to go talk to the dummies at the VZW store.
