We will look at this kernel fix and see if we can make a new kernel with it. Don't hold your breath

Two fingers seemed to fix it until I tried this:
Using Multi-Touch Benchmark, lightly touch with 2 or even 3 finger tips and the problem is still there. I can only get it to work normally when I past some pressure/surface area threshold regardless if I do it with 1, 2, or more fingers.
Well hell I just tried it again and 2 & 3 finger method with normal pressure and it isn't even being reliable. Seems very flakey, maybe I need to charge my fingers.
Place primary finger first... wait 1 sec... then secondary finger ... now both fingers can move freely without error.... once you lift a finger, you must start over.
that sucks to hear.... you are however the first to mention (on this forum at least) that it does not work since the phone was released.... others have also said a big thumb works, but not for most (must have to use much skin) it dont work for meWith enough area/pressure that will work for me, and a single finger or thumb will work for me also, point is I have to get a certain amount of total finger tip area touching the screen before the problem seems to go away. If the primary finger is just very tip of your finger and held for a second, and then a secondary finger tip touch is added I still have the problem. Just saying I don't think it's the two points fixing the problem as much as it is the total area touching the screen fixing the problem.
i wish it would... one big thumb is easyer then two fingers
imo....bro this is my one and only problem with this phone...at times it becomes a real pain...i noticed that using a screen cover makes it worse..and not cleaning the junk off of the screen..thanks for the info
Same here. I ended having to take the screen protector specifically shaped for it ($20 at radioshack) off and just threw it away =\
u guys he is trying to build frpm source this bug has plauged this device tree and it bs the devs on the triumph rewrote the touch screen drivers thats all i could say but badsector you aready thought about that i bet
Just briefly (because it was mentioned about a rom might fix it) I was having issues with the screen sensitivity, but after installing the custom rom it stopped.![]()
What ROM? Thats kinda weird because you have to edit the kernel to get the issue fixed.
I am planning it out for soon it will
be replaced!

The problem is that your phone uses some new Melfas drivers that no other phone(including Samsung) has. The source code for your phone is horrible, I'm surprised you don't have more problems than just the touchscreen.
After a few talks with bobzhome he sent me a kernel with ICS touch screen settings but still no luck heres our convo.
