Root Deciding on which ROM to use

I know it's annoying when people ask "what's the best rom?" but this is slightly different lol. I gave my old Optimus to my little brother for Christmas. We won't be activating it any time soon, so it's just for games, music, etc. I'd like to flash a ROM for him to increase storage space and performance. I upgraded to the Triumph when it came out, so I've been away from the Optimus community for a while, so I'm not familiar with all the newer ROMs now. Since its for my brother, I don't necessarily need a lot of customization, just something light and bloat-free, with the best performance. I don't really have the time to try out all of them, so whatever help/suggestions you can give me are appreciated.

I've heard LeslieAnn's Harmonia 2 is about as light, speedy, and bloat-free as you can get. Check it out

Thanks. Regarding performance, would there be much difference between Froyo and Gingerbread based ROMs, or is it mostly cosmetic?

That's what heard, though a GB version is not listed in the all things root sticky, so I'm glad to see there is one. Thanks, I'll check it out.

Harmonia is light and stripped down to just what is necessary. You will still need to overclock, which we can walk you through as well.
