Root Decks reloaded forces close and tendon reboots.

Hey everyone. I have been running this rom for about a month now, and just yesterday my apps are all closing out on me and my phone keeps rebooting all the time. I mean like ten times just today. Other things seem to be acting up with it too. I have cleared cache dalvik and temp files with smelkus a couple times. Any insight on what could be causing this, a2sd seems to be in order.

gotcha. i know you said it seems like a2sd is running ok, but it kinda sounds like an a2sd issue to me. i ran into similar issues w/reloaded and i used terminal emulator commands:
'fix_permissions' (which worked initially)
'a2sd repair '
and/or
'a2sd reinstall' sometimes works too. it won't hurt to run any of those to check and see if it helps

Are you using any kind of task manager/task killer?
 
I have the go launcher task manager Wichita I only use if the phone starts lagging, which is almost never. But when I first flashed the rom I ran the repair commands because my apps dissapeared. That's why I started this thread because I have read all the other threads about issues and have ran all of the usual fixes, and out of nowhere it has started acting up.
 
I know you have wiped cache and dalvik cache and fixed perms already, but---
try this from recovery:
Wipe cache and wipe dalvik.
Fix permissions.
Wipe cache and dalvik cache again.
Reboot.
Wait for splash screen/bootanimation and finally lock screen to fade to black.
(My phone takes 10 minutes for that?!!). Then,
Let phone sit 5 minutes...
Cross fingers
Wake up phone:)
 
Funny thing it rebooted over and over at the worst times for the past two days but mid day yesterday after one of the RANDOMS, it started up and I haven't had a problem since. And btw I had done everything suggested without the problem being taken care of, but I love this rom so much I didn't want to switch it, so I my prayers went answered when it stopped.

Well that's weird but good now that it works.
Just wait for Decks Reloaded update then you can start with a clean install!:)
 
I can't wait. Keeping an eye on the threads closely. You never know what day or time it'll drop, this happened once before with my phone and I instantly switched back to cm7.2. But this time I wanted to stay on reloaded, its just so smoooooooooooooooooth.
 
just an fyi you can always make a nandroid backup and flash something else just to see if the same thing is happening. that way you can always nandroid restore back and it will be like you never left:D
