Just wondering if anyone knows when Richard is aiming to release DeFroST Gingerbread?

It's done by Richard Trip, who's now part of the Villain team, and it's based on ASOP 2.3
if your reasons for using richards builds is because of CM then why not just use CM instead of defrost?
richard is an amazing dev and hes the reason cm is so good on the desire imo.
defrost is good because of richardtrip and how he implements things not because of CM.
each to his own i suppose, i just dont get it
I'm keen to know because I liek DeFroST and I think Richard creates very good, stable ROMS. If there are other Trip ROMS that are a) very good, b) stable, and c) Gingerbread, then I'm more than willing to listen to the options.

There's an unofficial alpha in the CM6 nightlies thread at XDA, but no official pre-release yet (and from the dev's report it doesn't seem ready for day-to-day use). Does all sound promising - don't mind waiting a little if it means it's done right. As far as I know, CM7 hasn't been ported to the Desire yet...
