Help delete messages...

so i have a thread of texts to one person that has reached almost 1500 messages...every time i go to try and delete the thread, my messages freeze and i have to force close and restart my phone....anyone know of a way to delete messages another way??

& i recently set my phone to delete after 200 texts...would this maybe be causing the freezing does anyone think??

super annoying i'd appreciate anyyyy feedback.

This has been a problem that has popped up a few times. there are several apps in the market that will delete the messages ...or keep trying and let the phone sit and do it's thing

i recall in one case it taking almost 2 hours to delete that many.

Yep, just let it sit and it will do its thing. And fyi, dont let your threads get above 300 messages and this wont happen.

yeah i didn't realize this would become a problem until now....it's my first android phone.
