The main reason why we haven't been able to delete the stock MMS and use Go Sms is because picture messaging doesn't work. Well this is a fix for that so you can uninstall MMS and use Gosms or Handscent for all messaging needs.
What you will need.

-Open up GOSms and go to settings/advanced.
-Scroll down to important tips and check Stock SMS uninstalled.
-Go back and click on MMS settings
-Click on fill APN manually
Enter the following
MMSC:http://mms.metropcs.net/mmsc
MMS Proxy: wap.metropcs.net
MMS Port: 3128
-Next use Titanium to make a backup and uninstall the stock messaging app.

-When testing this i noticed that if i clicked on share on a picture in galley and added to gosms, it wouldn't send.
But if i opened a new message and clicked clicked the paper clip on the left of the message input and added the picture from there it would work.
Handscent Im sure will be similar but I dont have it to see where the settings options are. Someone can fill that in if they want.
