Ok PLEASE help. I want to give my phone to a friend since I bought a new one. So I did a factory reset and gave her the phone. But prior to doing the factory reset I forgot to delete my messages both locked and unlocked. She hasn't turned the phone on yet but will soon. So my question is will the factory data reset delete the messages for me? Some were pretty private between my fianc

Yes, they were all deleted. App data is stored on the data partition. Factory resets whipe /data, /cache, and /sdcard/.android_secure. The photos and private texts are gone forever.

But if you left the sdcard in the phone without formating it then you may have a problem.

Thank you so much...and I already removed all data from the SD card prior to the factory data reset
