Deleting Messages

So i've been trying to delete a thread of 700 messages. I tried using the native message app to delete but just gives me a black screen. Then i tried the app SMS Quick Delete and it gets stuck at 0%. Anyone know a way to clear it, also im trying to avoid factory reseting.

ok so i figured out that you just need to use the native messaging app. itll be a black screen for a while but itll eventually delete. it takes some time

i found an "delete old messages" app
some people says it sucks but it seems to be alright for me

i've actually got a thread over 3000 and my phone runs fine but i also use handcent and the 2.1 leak

I second "delete old messages". It'd be better if it was automatic, but it's the best available as of now.

it has an option to delete messages older than the time you set for it but idk how well it works
