Desire 720p?

Anyone noticed that there seem to be wierd vertical lines running on 720p footage especially in lower light or darker parts of the frame(not indoors but outside)? have noticed them showing quite badly when played back by windows media player. have another prog called media player classic and the lines don't seem half as pronounced in that but overall i am not madly taken with the so called 720p mode?

Not impressed either, it's laggy and rubbish IMO

As said above have a read of that post. Should be able to sort it.
