Desire still a good device?

Rooted and ROMmed my phone data partition is 287MB, 97MB free, and my EXT4 partition on my SD card is 28476MB, 17208MB free (could have got away with a 1GB partition lol).

But the moral is, space is not an issue on the Desire if you root and ROM properly. Loads of great guides out there, as per the above links.

also now the device is a pretty cheep entry to android world with a massive mod community so imo its still a good device as its cheep and extremely powerful if you buy second hand

Applications > User Apps.

It includes stuff like themes and live wallpapers. 183 for me with 224 mb left in internal storage. With a combo of dGB, the new hboot AND an ext partition, I won't run out of space for a long, long time

I've got an opportunity to swap my Desire for an Xperia Arc S and make some profit.

The only 2 things putting me off is that a) the method to do it is a bit convoluted (but manageable) and b) I've grown attached to my Desire after all the post-rooting work I've put into it and how well it functions now.

Decisions, decisions.

hmm i must be running an old version as i do not have this option in quick system info
if i go to application it shows all the apps but not the count

I am on dGB and use an app to move apps to sd card. Can I use TB to move apps as well? If yes, anything I should be aware of apart from keeping widgets on the internal memory?
