Help Desire Z Shutting Down By Itself

Hello , Please I got My Desire Z A week ago , and it'a amazing , but the other day i left it in the glove box in the car , when i returned i was turned off by itself , and when the battery was still full when i turned it on again , and the same thing happened again before two days when i went to sleep and the phone is charging , i woke up to found it Off again , but since then it didn't happen again , so i need to check if this happened with any of you Guys or heard about it !! Thanks So Much

Could it have been overheating and that caused it to shut down? Car gloveboxes are notoriously hot places, and charging can also cause the battery to get warmer. If the environment was already hot then the resulting temperature may have been high enough to cause a shutdown.
