Help Desktop/Theme mysterious GONE

Yesterday, the desktop/theme (whatever you want to phucking call it) just disappeared. It was replaced by a generic them with a "globe" background. All my icons...GONE.

What's even phucking worse is that it's not even the DEFAULT theme that comes on the EVO-4G. The left-hand pane, where the GPS/4G/WIFI radio switches are? Nope, it's not there. Instead, there is a phucking anouying "Welcome to HTC" screen.

I phucking HATE this phone. How do I go from my normal desktop, to a desktop/theme that didn't even come standard on the phone?

The right pane, where all the SPRINT icons typically come preloaded? Nope, that's gone too. Everything is GONE.

Meanwhile, all the apps are there, as well as the app data.

I seriously thought I had someone else's phone for a while. This phone is BULLSHIT. I hardly have any apps, and this bullschit happens. Not to mention, my phone is running SLOW.

Help please.

I think user error for your settings being changed ... learn about the phone first before tinkering with settings. I'm not saying that's what happened for sure... just a guess. Evo is a good phone ... it gets better ratings than the iphone ... look up the reviews. You will get the best performance out of your phone if you root it as well. But make sure you do a lot of research before attempting it. There will be people here to help along the way if need be.

try powering off your phone. wait 30 sec and then power back up. sometimes that might help. doing that clears temp. files and cache. how much internal memory do you have?
