WOOOHOOOO!!!!!!! i finaly got it and this is what i did...all the drivers and links and downloads on this forum DO WORK!, the problem i had and im sure everyone else is having is the Androind ADB Interface is not installing on ur machine.

so is what i did was went to Devices and Printers on my pc, clicked on the android device in the list, went to the properties of the Android ADB Interface and uninstalled it, then unpluged my phone and pluged it back in and let windows reinstall the driver, went back to my LG Esteem file and ran the run.bat file.

then what do ya know it went through the whole process, so for everyone having issues with it not rooting on ur BOOST MOBILE LG MARQUEE, try everything i did and run ur run.bat file HAPPY ROOTING!!!

My LG Ignite is basically the same as the LG Marquee (CDMA)... I've been rooted for quite some time... any word on Cyanogen or another good ROM?

I'm trying to get around my provider's ridiculous fee for using 2.3.4's native tethering feature.

WiFi Tether and other root apps haven't been able to do the trick (they work for my laptops, but not for my TF201 or other Android devices)... I think a custom ROM is my best option...

This development will be for sprints marquee i dont have a boost one nor can i get one but if a Dev comes to the marquee with the boost one they can port it over easily so yeah
