OK, I've decided to open a thread about fixing LG Esteem bricked phones. I finally I got to speak to the dude that released MS910.dll..... and apparently there is no need to use LGNPST.

What you would use is LG Flash Tool. Who has a bricked phone?

I dont want to break any forum rules, so please pm me and i'll send you links and/or if you go to #lgesteem on freenode the links will be in the topic.

Let's share ideas and thoughts, and if it has worked for you please let everyone know.

Ready to unbrick em?

Sent 4 PMS out.

Remember, i myself have not gotten it to work. This is something i decided to look into because it looks like MS910.dll will never register.

So, please lets just try and figure it out. For some reason it keeps freezing on me.

First of all MS910.dll never register. Second, the app accepts the model.dll and seems to work but instantly freeze and stop working. Tried running as admin, with Win7 compatibility and with Win XP compatibility without results.

well my instructions did say to use the model because that's the only way I got it to work.

I just wanted to confirm it with your guys.

I'm going to follow up with him.

Well the person that leaked ms910 and ms910_model, and the tot for the LG Esteem says so.

I have not gotten it to work. So i figured after testing it, it would be smarter to release it to those that need it. To see if we can figure it out.

What's the problem? Registering dll or anyting else? Maybe I could help.

He installed everything and it worked but then uninstalled. When uninstalling it didn't fully uninstall everything and now he can't reinstall. I had this problem before, I forgot what I did to fix if.

He can try CCleaner remove app function then fix registry then try to reinstall and see if that works.

Agree with you Prime. I use CCleaner since version 1.0 (now is on version 3 dot something) Wonderful app for cleaning junks, registry and managing startup programs.
