One of the features I absolutely loved with CM7 on my old Optimus (can't remember who's it was atm... it may have been Reppard's), was the 'rendering' feature in the display settings... I believe it had blue, red, salmon, yellow and green.
I loved the look of the green and blue (but the blue was a bit too dark to read well), but it was red that came in handy on many a night while boating - without affecting my night vision. Will this version of CM9 have that feature as well?
That would be awesome!

I never owned an optimus, but it sounds like your talking about the theme chooser. If so, then yes. Theme chooser is built in to CM builds so it should be in all of them

No, I don't think it was the theme chooser (but I could be wrong - it's been many months ago)... I do remember that it was called "Rendering", and I believe it was in CM7's Display settings. When selected, it would render everything - absolutely everything, of the color chosen. The camera and video, apps, the icons... absolutely everything that showed on the screen.

Lucky, it bootlooped for me when I unlocked it. Screen responded just fine while locking. And the launcher is what fc's.

I use an app called 'privacy filter' from the market. Let's you set an overlay over everything. Can set any color and transparency. Should do the trick.
 
So if I'm following correctly, the only problem right now is the launcher fc's or is there more problems atm?
 
there are still all sorts of issues. Basically no functionality works atm, what ya see is where we are at. Like stated its point of concept (POC) release for those who like to fiddle n go oooooooo.

i have 11 cents i could paypal you... but things are looking up for me, so excpect SOMETHING from aletheus@gmail.com by the first (which is way too late for your electric bill.) this work is obviously way above most peoples heads. but dude, there are enough people on here happily taking your offerings without giving anything in return. i understand you can't sell copy-lefted material, and even doing this is a noble gesture for which you will be rewarded beyond measure (one day)... in the meantime. if every one who downloaded your OC kernel and GS2X donated $1, you'd have your electricity paid. don't give up.


QUESTION: how easily will CM9 and this ICS rom port to LG connect? i guess there's no way of knowing till you have the phone in your hand, huh?

yup and yup wont know til I have one in hand n dig into its guts lol

Dont even know what it is lol. At this point I wont even attempt it until I get the basic functionality working etc. Extras we will just have to look at later on.

I am also working on porting CM7 once I get past my compiling issue.

Alright thanks. And emoji are colorful emoticons that apple had put in to ios and it's the only thing that my douchey iPhone friends can do that I can't lol
