For some reason I thought there were quite a few phones with stable CM9 builds, but when I was on thier website, it looks like there are only a few phones that actually have CM9,and it is mostly RC builds. Am I wrong here or are there really that few CM9 builds for other phones?

Rc builds are good, that means its pretty stable, I've been running nightlies on my phone on and off on my sensation. There aren't any major bugs left except mhl I think

What exactly Do you mean by "aborted "? Did you get an error message? If so what does it say?

Use This instead.
You got an assert script error. Just install this instead of the one from pg (Both are the same, this just has assert removed)

yup im pretty sure PG is up to the challenge to make a well working CM9 ive loved all his roms from when i was with the ascend till now he always finds a way to get things working good

Well remember, not many phones have a stable version. Mainly alphas and betas or no cm9 at all.
