Root Development progress on Cyanogenmod7/9/10 Updated: 5/10

Dude screw adb. If it boots to recovery just restore a backup wyliee. After you restore one, reflash cwm again for safety.

Well the install goes through just fine, but like the other ones, it doesn't go past the LG boot logo. As for adb I'm not really sure.

Well hows CM7, and CM10 doing then? Anyone know how far exactly? Idont see any builds for those put yet.

yeah gimme CM7 god i miss that rom > Im ready to sell my optimus elite and go back to my optimus V just to have that rom.

What kernel is installed when you flash the current cm9 build? If it's giantpunes kernel maybe it isn't compatible? Try getting the kernel he uses on the cm builds he has produced. Find out how he got cm to boot up.

Giantpune said that CM9 will boot with the stock ramdisk/kernel

Who says anyone has to make a hard choice? The way I see it, it's pretty simple: enjoy the ROMs we have now until CM7, 9, and 10 have had their bugs squashed and, if possible, giantpune has made a kernel that overclocks to 1612MHz with all of the currently available governors, then make the switch. Yes, it's CM, but it's not worth stressing oneself over nor compromising if one can wait until there is no compromising needed to be done.

EDIT: Hell, once CM is *actually* ready (ie: not just when it's released, but all bugs have been squashed and it's overclockable), I'll even make the switch to CM myself (and for those who would not want to switch to CM for whatever reason, development on Sleipnir will continue as needed).
