Once Rupkin in his pack of goons (gang) comes back swinging at the Optimas Elite to get CM9 or CM10 running on it.


Also going to be working on my own CM build to see if I will have any luck getting it to boot, while learning how to do it at the same time. Like a boss I know!

Only have experience in app/web development, so bare with me if you don't hear from me for awhile on my build.

I'm starting to see why xda is so cranky about people nagging about the status of development.

I'm waiting to see how development goes - I'm on an Optimus V w/ CM7 on the $25 plan...I've got an HTC one V in the box here (Cyber monday deal) but I'm pretty sure from the looks of it I'd rather track down an Elite and stay on the $25 plan.

I'm as eager as anyone to see CM9/10 but nagging the devs isn't going to get it any faster. :smokingsomb:

And to reiterate Leslie's statements; development at this time of year is slow. It's family time. And, personally, I'm surprised at the level of development we have going on during this very period of time. It will pick back up - but, if you've got the time, feel free to contribute to development as well! We could always use new devs.

Could just rename the thread to "CyanogenMod 7, 9, and 10," to avoid cluttering the forum even more than it already is.

... that's what I meant XD I'm operating on 4 hours of sleep here. But yeah, the gist of it being to just add in the other build/version numbers to the title.

All ROMs that are available for the OE are currently working for the OE.

I was looking at One V forums today and saw a Rom. Was bored so was lookin around. And saw the way they got CM10 to boot was by fastbooting a jellybean boot.img would we be able to do that on the Elite to get it to boot CM maybe? :]

From what i've heard they have it booting put data and messaging don't work...

That's for cm7. Cm9 won't boot.

I may check that out later. Doesn't help not to try it.

That is not going to help you at all.. You need a working boot.img first. You are going to have to wait til rookin gets his ramdisk working right. I suspect thats probably the issue.

And development for all my devices have been slow, due to the holidays, which is using what Leslie has said. So please be patient, and I will try to work things out.

My focus now is to see if I can get CM7 booting, and if so, work from that on CM9. CM7 -> CM9 is really hard and CM9 -> CM10 is really easy. So I'm not too worried about CM10 development after we get CM9 up and running

Are you done with the Triumph now? If so, awesome! Just tell me when you need to test.

I'm in on CM7 testing also, let me know what you need. I'd be perfectly happy with a working CM7 and achep's ICS theme.

I figured CM9 would be the hardest jump.

Got the HTC One V today meaning I won't be able to work on the Elite as much over the holiday. Haven't abandon the device development, before it even started just needed a break from it.
