Hopefully soon. I haven't touched my computer in weeks lol. All recent development work has taken place right from my phone.

Have built TWRP with f2fs support. Getting ready to build our kernel with f2fs support and modify the ramdisk with regards to f2fs support. This should be all that is really required. f2fs is way faster than ext4 and I look forward to seeing it on our device lol.

I will have to open a new thread when the time comes. Some instructions will be needed since once you switch over to f2fs then any Rom from that point on must also be f2fs compatible less you restore back to ext4.

This pertains to the system, data, and cache partitions.

Kernel built (checked), twrp built (checked), ramdisk modified for boot and recovery (checked). Now for testing .

F2FS support (fingers crossed)

First test failed. Can confirm that the TWRP build with F2FS support works and also the kernel build with F2FS support. I got to take a closer look at the ramdisk and see what it is that I overlooked.

Hey guys, I'm a noob to this stuff, but I managed to root my old phone, which was a galaxy prevail. That was a few years ago and when I spent $300 on this phone, I was a little scared to mess with it. I finally unlocked the bootloader and then tried to learn how to use fastboot while I was using it with adb or whatever. I managed to install all that. I then opened the command prompt in the folder I put the twrp file into earlier by holding shift and right clicking to open it at that destination. I typed "fastboot flash recovery k2_............" but it said it didn't recognize the recovery.img. so I ended at another website and downloaded a version of cwm that was supposedly for my phone and it worked with that command prompt. I turn off the phone and then hold vol down and power and the phone will not go into that recovery....it just sits there. I'd like to use twrp and finally get this working so I can root my phone. If anyone could help me figure out why I can't get this to work, it would be greatly appreciated.
