That is an AOSP code. It won't work on stock. ##3282# is what you want.

Could one of you please explain in step by step, how I would unlock this LG 740 Volt?

Please & Thank You

I'm not having much luck. My IMEI Number starts with 99 and I read that this could be part of my problem, I tried calling Virgin Mobile but no luck, they said I was out of my 12 month window ... Please help.

After losing lte from flashing rom to rom I'm wondering if there is anything in the stock ##DATA# menu that could be toggled or configured to get lte back. It wasnt easy getting my msl code from sprint and I had to speak with a supervisor. I just explained that after trouble shooting it with one of their representatives and still not havin 4g lte I wanted to trouble shoot it myself and needed that msl code. They were trying to say they didn't want to give me this code because I might mess up my phone but I explained that the phone was already paid in full and I would prefer to take the risk on trouble shooting this problem myself since they couldn't fix it. Now that I have my msl code does anyone have any insight on what I should be looking for or toggling in the menu to possibly get 4g back ?

Great list. Typically, LG phones have a menu in which the user can quickly disable LG MLT. I don't see that in any of the menus. Is it there?

Shortcut master is a great tool I even found a menu to set 4g 3g 1x (cdma-lte-evdo) because on stock #*#*4636*#*# does not work

Go to app Explorer set system app scroll down to LG mlt

My apologies, I must be very dense at the moment. o_O How do I get to that menu? What is app Explorer?

Edit:
Oh wait, I think you're talking about within Shortcut Master. Hmmm... is that the real LG hidden menu, or is that just disabling the app (just like using the stock Android app manager)?

Most LG phones have an option to disable MLT within the main factory menu.

Just uninstall it.

Depends on how it is hooked into the system. If other processes are calling it, the logcat will get cluttered with failed call attempts. OTOH, if it is disabled via the factory menu, there should be no call attempts.
I uninstalled it weeks ago. No problems whatsoever.
