Root Dialer storage

Using Titanium Backup learned that the dialer storage on my husband's samsung is nearly 11MB. Mine is only about 500KB, or less. Why the difference, and how can we reduce his?
 
Mms storage if they are in messages and not the sd card and texts as well. Don't send Ur husband so many dirty pictures ;)
 
He is saying to delete old text messages and texts and/or save mms to sd and delete from inbox
