Root Dialing *2 on custom rom not avail?

I've tried several roms lately, and have noticed you can't dial *2 anymore, just brings up a force close. Is there anyway to work around this or is that feature toast in a custom rom?

Depending on the rom you are on, it is likely in a Removed Apps folder on your sdcard. Use something like ES Explorer or Astro File Explorer to find it. Tap it and it should give you the option to install the apk.

If you are running an AOSP rom, this will not work to my knowledge.
