I was watching youtube videos on my phone and then clicked on a bitly url. I opened it using Opera and a warning site saying users either reported it as malicious or that its been shortened too many times. On the bottom it has the full link and a message saying click here if you still want to proceed. So did I get infected? Cause some viral sites says their helping when theyre really loading sumthing on the pc. I heard androids getting infected r rare? Oh and I did not proceed onto the site. Help plz Im freaking out.

Download Kinetoo from the market it will scan all apps like most,but will also scan all files (SD card and system) . If your clean no harm done, if dirty will go from there. When you choose to scan all files you should plug your phone into the charger as it will take as long as a complete deep scan on a PC.

You get infected by apps not sites. You have to give permission for it to do anything which is why there hidden in apps.

That is why I got Kinetoo. They may not be able to infect the phone like a PC. But it's just a matter of time.
