Did I get the only non-wonky Inc?

My phone gets really hot on occasion, but other than that it's good. it might be the seidio battery, I'm not reallhy sure what's causing it. A little bothersome, but I like the phone enough that I'll let it go.

I believe it's the same but just to be sure I would order from this link:

That's the one that's been confirmed. It appears to be the same as your link but this one says Hero Dash while yours said Sprint Touch Pro.

Partially true b/c those who complain about having crap poor voice calls (out of the box w/o apps installed) have every right to be unhappy and being "tech savvy" won't totally solve that problem.

Other than that, I agree with your p.o.v. :)
 
my Inc (knock on wood) is not wonky at all i got the 1750 battery and its awesome now just waiting for updates and froyo...
 
Best phone experience ever. I came from a Blackberry Tour, so it is completely different than that terrible experience. It was more like my iPod Touch actually, but a much more satisfying UI. Only issue that I am consistently bothered by is the battery life. Other than that, I'm golden.

Raises hand - non-nerd here. First Smartphone too - came from a LG Voyager. My Incredible experience has been well.....Incredible.

I don't believe that's a fair statement. As with any new interest that I have (phone, ball pythons when I got my first (and six years later I'm breeding them), my new Altima, etc), I join forums and lurk and read and learn all that I can to have the best experience that I can.

With every new cell phone choice I've made, I've joined forums, read Howard Forums, Phone Scoop, etc to read reviews and make an educated decision on my next device.
 
The 1750 Seidio battery is a must. Fits under stock battery cover. My phone with pretty heavy use only got as low as 50% by the end of the day. I should note that I don't use push email. My phone would be going off constantly but I do manually check fairly frequently.

No issues to report. This is the first phone that I have purchased since my iPhone that actually didn't make me miss it!

For the money I really think the TouchPro2 HTC 1500mAh battery for $15 is a waaaaaaaaay better way to go than the Seidio...

$15 brand new off ebay from BidAllies btw...

I actually bought my phone on eBay and it came with the Seidio. I'm sure the 1500 is a great battery too but I don't have it to compare so I can't comment on it.

What would be the reason that the 1500 would outperform the 1750?

It won't outpreform it.

However, if you are going to buy a battery (to upgrade the stock one) the EBay one is a better deal cost wise than the Seidio battery. $15 for 1500 mAh VS $50 for 1750 mAh.

So basically, $35 more for only 250 mAh more. For the price of the Seidio you could get TWO 1500 batteries and a spare battery charger and just switch them when needed.

Gotcha. Thanks for the clarification! I would agree then, the cost ratio is definitely in favor of the 1500.

I've had the phone since launch and no problems.

I am also one of those prior non smart phone people but I am pretty computer savy and I constantly read this forum.

I love the phone.

i couldn't of said it any better i really think the phone should of shipped with the 2150 mah battery. it feels more solid and its easier to hold :)
 
My incredible has been .... well incredible. No freezing Issues, no randomly shutting off, and no trackball issues. Lol.
 
I have the first DInc sold at the Robinson VZW store in Pittsburgh PA and I have had absolutley zero problems with it.

There's an addage amongst IT people... most problems are user error.
 
No you didn't, no wonk here either! First smart phone and I love it. My wife would be getting one if they were available. Instead, her first smartphone will be the Droid X.
