Help Did VZW screw up my phone?

I just got an automatic update on my Droid X yesterday (maybe it was a mistake to let it go forward, but that's not important now) and today I can't listen to my voice mail.

Specifically, when I open my voice mail and the dial pad pops up I can't get it to do anything. I can't enter my password, I can't turn on or off the dial pad, I can't even operate the button to terminate the call.

I can still use the dial pad to dial calls, just not within voice mail to do anything.

Any ideas?

Were you rooted before you hit the update button?

give this a shot.

Go into settings > applications > Manage applications > all > Dialer > then clear data & cache.

see if that helps! (you shouldn't lose anything other than recent calls, but im not 100% sure so be warned you might lose some data)
