Root didn't back up..

I think at this point your only choice would be to try a different ROM (or ROMs) to find one you like more.

Is there anyway to get it back to the way it was without unrooting and resetting?

If u don't have a backup then no u ll have to load a new rom and customize or go back to the beginning. That's why you should always back up before flashing. Anything

I know.. ugh. I read and read before i did anything, but I just didn't check the box.. so now i need to figure out how to unroot from the one click root.

Why unroot? Search xda under fascinate development and I believe. There is a stock dI01
Rom there somewhere. If I was at a computer I'd look for ya

Thanks so much! You have been a lifesaver.. I shall wonder back over there.. I've been back and forth all day.. at least I'm learning what not to do :o

Thats what many of us do/did. xda is the place for higher learning and most of the good links/downloads are there

I'm learning that.. It seems like most of the links take me there, so I've been trying to read and make sense of all of this. I figure most of this will be trial and error with a few mistakes in between.. there's just so much information to absorb. Thankfully I sell these phones, so work sees it as research :D

Yes xda is where most roms, themes, kernels are posted when meant for release. If you have any questions or concerns this tends to be a good place to stop in :) . Discussion is a lot of fun here.
