Help Direct dial shortcuts quit working

I have an EVO 4G. I have a number of direct dial shortcuts set up, but after a while some of them randomly quit working. Has anyone else experienced this and have a solution?

Have you tried rebooting the device?
Are you using the stock launcher or another one?

I just tried rebooting - that didn't work.

Hmm, that can be annoying I'm sure, but I don't know what else to offer.

Are you using the stock launcher? Do you create a contact folder on one of the homescreens to direct dial them? Sorry, I don't use direct dial so I'm not totally familiar with that option

yeah i do not use it either, but have you tried and just delete and re-add the shortcut?
