Root Dirty Unicorns 2.1

Does anyone else get shit for 3g on this? Unless its the weather [which is nice today] my data connection has been complete garbage at work today. Had to cycle on/off mobile network just to download an app. Its never been like this before :\
 
I just tried to install this and all I got was the Unicorn logo revolving for about 5 to 6 minutes. Is there an issue with Clockwork and this ROM?
 
Is there a thread/posting or link that has the vm fix. I have them all flashed and fix except can't find the vm fix.
 
Since flashing Dirty Unicorns 4.2.2 and started with v1.4. I use Go sms pro and the basic sms program. I like to use different notification ringtones for my text messages. Now since flashing DU, I only get about 5 ring tones to choose from. Past had huge list of tones to choose from.

Any fix for this???
 
I backup launcher settings. Backup user apps+data. Update. Apply fixes. Restore apps, restore launcher, then redo all my other settings.

Theres probably a better way of doing it. But I dont run into any issues like this

So you don't use the stock launcher? What do you use to backup your user apps and data?
 
I do use the stock launcher, it has an option to Backup & Restore.

I do my app+data backups using Rom Toolbox Pro's App Manager
 
Anyone else having issues with Apollo force closing? I've tried using Titanium Backup to uninstall it, then I installed the 1.0 APK I had and that started force closing, too. F-Droid's repository won't install their version of 1.0 for me so I just uninstalled it entirely.

Work arounds? Fixes?

Or at least the system apps, which are located in /system/app directory. If you don't format the data partition and do a "dirty flash" the user apps installed in /data/app remain, but I think VVM and MMS are both installed as system apps.

What other audio libs and .apk are there for this rom... i think this rom has bad audio.. I have beats.apk on it..but what other audio tricks are there that work with this rom?
