Help Disable text preview on lock screen ?

Is there anyway to disable the text message preview on the lock screen ? I know i could use a third party app but I would like to get use to the stock sms program but def. do not want previews of my texts on my lockscreen...

Settings>privacy>under lockscreen, uncheck the box. I was looking for this earlier, haven't got a text since I unchecked it so don't know for sure.
