Root [DISCONTINUED] MegaTron 6.2.5

Ok, do this ..... using a file explorer, go to the OTA folder on your sd card and delete anything that's may be in it. Then turn your phone off and pull the battery for about 2 minutes. Reboot the phone and try it again. You can go to the Megatron settings and force the phone to update if it doesn't do it automatically. If it still doesn't update let me know and I'll post the update file here.

The only for sure way that I know to fix that issue is to do a factory reset. Hopefully we won't need to do that and what I've asked you to do will suffice. :D Get back with me ASAP and let me know what's up. I'll be here waiting on you. ;)

EDIT: HELLOOOOOO!! I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR ALMOST 45 MINUTES. IF YOU GOT IT WORKING PLEASE LET ME KNOW. THX :p

Lol sorry I has to do homework and well I completely erased the OTA folder and did a battery pull for 2 minutes and booted it up again and tried it again but nothing dude

Well, here's what's up. He may have pulled the download or something's not right on your phone. If it's your phone then you REALLY should do a factory reset OR re-download the ROM, factory wipe, clear cache & Dalvik cache then flash the new ROM zip. That is my recommendation, then try the update after you've done all of that. ORRRRR.... you can just flash this in CWM. This update is very small and will just update your existing ROM. Your call. :)

So I can just flash it and done? No factory reset or anything?

OTA servers crash under too much traffic, that could be the problem or it could e something else. I'll check it out later when i have a chance.

first, thanks chevan and anyone else involved for this awesome ROM, very smooth, havent really had too much problems so far.
i was looking for a way to uninstall/disable google talk, seeing as i never use it and keep getting spam invitations, but I found my answer, thanks again =)

That's weird. You must have given out your account information somewhere. I've ran Gtalk for years and not once have I ever received any spam on it.

I've come across a strange issue. When I reboot my phone, it takes quite a long time for apps installed on my SD card to show up. This also happened this morning when I checked my phone after it was in sleep mode thru the night but not rebooted.

Maybe is because they ARE ON the SD, system first have to mount storage and after that read the info, External SD is slower than internal storage.

And... why do you have apps on SD? marquee have 4GB storage, isn't that enough?

Thanks for the awesome rom, this gives my marquee a new life.

Question, does anyone have problem with hot reboot? The regular reboot works though.

No it works fine for me (boost) it just takes a minute for the status bar to pop up. That was mentioned though

Thanks. The status bar doesn't show up on mine when hot booting (even five minutes later). The regular reboot is quite fast so it isn't really an issue.

Maybe so, but I prefer to have certain apps on the SD card.

If you choose to use app2sd, your will suffer the consequences that comes with using that app. It takes longer for data on the sd to reach and be read by the phone.

Just my opinion but the Marquee has 3gigs of internal which is more than enough space for apps. App2sd really isn't needed. :D

I am using a class 10 MicroSD card. Speed has never been an issue for me using the SD card. This is the first issue I've ever had with it and it only happened when I switched to this ROM. It isn't a huge problem. I figured I should report it though.

Not all phones can support class 10 speed, and Marquee is one that doesn't, I think.

some times it doesn't goes well with that over speed, that's what I read on amazon about SD cards and Android

Well as I mentioned earlier, I really have no speed issue with the SD card at all. Any app I have on it works just as fast as apps on the internal memory. I often forget which app is where. That is until they dissapear after I reboot. Luckily I do not have to reboot that often now that I have everything installed and working.

The good news is this ROM is working well and I'm happy to be rid of all the Sprint shovelware.

I know that you flashed the update I posted but if it happens again try using Titanium Backup and go the the OTA UPDATER then wipe the data. That should work.

I've had issues with mms lately, I can send mms but I can't receive them i get some number and letters from 3333 >_<

No on boost and these only work for sprint and ting

Backup your apps with titanium first. After doing the steps below, restore your apps only without data.
I think you need to download the new zip in the OP. Do a factory reset, clear cache and the wipe dalvik. Reinstall the new zip then do a profile update. See if that will solve your problem.

Just wondering, can we expect to see swipe to clear notifications anytime soon? I know its on the transform version, wasn't sure how easy it is to get it on ours.
