Your device is boost mobile right lol not US Cellular? sorry just gotta ask cuase you never know. Did you select the LG870_20130528_LGFLASHv151.dll as the .dll in the box? If your device is a boost mobile device then read over the thread you're probably missing something simple. use the picture guide to configure the ports as well if you didn't do that.
I got my phone from Virgin Mobile. I think that Virgin and Boost share the same carrier...
YES. I even repeated all those steps precisely this time, but the result was the same.

I don't think you have the f7 dude...... Virgin mobile has the f3 and the f6 I believe too, completely different from the F7. Upload a picture of your device please. Plus based on your description of the device about not even being able to power on after flashing that kernel is a major red flag, because even so *I've done this a lot of times* your phone would have still been able to boot to at least the LG screen and you should of been able to boot into cwm regardless. Now the fact that the flash tool is telling you wrong model? Yeah I really doubt you have the F7. It has to be a f3 or f6. Now you just flash 2 partitions to another device muy mal.

Someone please help. My 2.0 rom stopped working, it wouldnt log me into google and the play store stopped working so I tried to reinstall 2.0 and it all went good until it said permission error or something. Also I forgot to mention it was a philz touch instead of the standard pg recovery. So I tried again with same results.
I couldnt get back past the lg symbol after rebooting. So I went back and reinstalled 1.0.4 and everything installed perfectly all the way up until the enjoy the smooth butteryness or whatever and said reboot and continued and it just kept booting. So I restarted the phone now when I try to go into android recovery it says press power key to confirm any other key to cancel. *Confirmed* Phone will go into Android Recovery! then just stays there. Am I hard bricked now? Is there anyway to fix this? There has to be something I can do. Someone please help before my battery goes out. I loved this ROM

go back and look at the unbrick thread that tells you how to flash stock ROM. (you need a computer to do it) just follow the instructions in the thread very carefully, and you should be good man 
then you can go back and root and install cwm again. hold on let me get you a link to the thread.

Its Probably never a good idea to downgrade when 2.0.0 was a big update for partitions. You can't reboot into recovery now because you downgraded. Did you ever wipe data before doing all of this and checking to see if your problem was fixed?

Hey Chev i found this along time ago but if u add this into the build prop at the end of it.
ime_extend_row_keyboard=true
ime_onehand_keyboard=true
ime_split_keyboard=true
ime_vibration_pattern=0:20 ro.config.libemoji=libemoji_lge.so ro.lge.capp_emoji=true
It will add the number row at the top of the keyboard and to disable it you can go into the keyboard settings and uncheck the extended row.

Knew that months ago lol, just didnt really care to put it in. Much more exciting features to put it than that.

I've studied stock ROM from top to bottom and inside and out, i've also ported a few neat stuff that i have yet to release at this time or not at all. i've Enabled a few hidden features that LG covers up and much more, eagerly waiting on kitkat because i know they hid a tone of shit that'll enable for version 3.0 of this ROM lol. But point is, Im always open for suggestion, im sure i missed something

Gotcha! Im just running My own stock themed Rom also waiting eagerly for kitkat. Now that LG released the LG Volt with 4.4 on it which that phone is basically like the F7 we should be getting the 4.4 released for our phones hopefully soon.

Yes which is why it failed, download the full ROM zip from the thread and flash it to be on 2.0.0.

I fixed it using the flash tool and now have zv5 again. I still have the zip for 2.0 but I am on factory with superSu. can i just flash from here to 2.0 or do i have to reinstall the first version then go through the updates before i can flash 2.0? Thanks in advance

Download the 1 gig zip from the thread for 2.0.0 and flash it with my recovery, either philz or cwm.

omg! people when you are told to take a backup of your phone DO IT! I just went to reinstall 2.0 using cwm recovery Again! And luckily it didn't hard brick but soft bricked. I almost threw up my dinner when i saw at the end of the aroma install it said some permissions failed and got stuck booting.
what's going on chev? luckily I was able to restore my backup in cwm recovery from two hours ago but I am guessing i have to start from the first rom at square one? I am confused why it's doing this. is it because of md5 mismatch maybe? when i created a backup it generates a md5, now i am aware that i really don't know completely what I'm talking about but that's why I'm asking you.
I want simplicity back so bad. I love your rom. I just want to understand what I'm doing wrong so i don't brick my phone again!

make sure the md5 sum in the thread matches the md5 sum the recovery loads. that's if you're using philz recovery BTW. redownload and try again. don't wipe system before installing. wipe data after installing.

What is flashtool
May have found a bug. Im not going to do any tested. Because id rather it not happen again. Heres what happen. I went to bed at 3 am last night after moving rooms around in my house. I dont have a bed side table set up right now. I plugged my phone in and set it on the floir at tje foot of my bed. I also forgot to turn the flashlight off. Sofe time during the night a pillow fell on my phone. I woke up at. Noon. To a pop up messege talking about my phone beign to hot and how it was going to shut its self off. It never turned itself off. I got the measege again 5 minutes later. But the phone still didnt shut its self down. I dont know if this is normal. Because ive never seen this pop up before

Well you left the flashlight on all night lol, it overheated which is why you saw that message. If it said it was going to shutdown it probably never reached the interval that its set to shut off at.

Next time take a screenshot, your phone probably almost fried lol. I've successfully reached 122 Degrees in my phone in the past which is crazy and I've yet to receive a message about shutting down, so your phone must have been wayyy up there. Anyway i highly doubt its a bug in my ROM, i guarantee you if you left it longer it probably would of shut off eventually, cause like i said It probably never reached the temp interval that it needs to shutdown the phone.
