I have a 4 line family plan with data on each line and the text and data promo discount of $20 on each line (I pay $40 total for data). I have a line available for early upgrade but only through VZW Telesales and they are not budging on the $249 price. My instinct tells me to use the upgrade on the line to get a TB for my wife and more importantly lock-in the unlimited data price and secure the promo discount at least for another year. My wife is happy with her Droid and does not want to spend the $300 after taxes for a TB. I am not interested in the Samsung Charge... maybe the Bionic if it ever comes out... I know that this has been discussed many times but what would you do?? My upgrade date for other retailers is June 2nd.

I have a TB so I don't need to be sold... lol. I guess we can look at this from my wife's point of view which is she doesn't need a new phone and until she does we are still paying what we are paying now. So let's say a year from now she needs / wants a new phone, we can get her a 3G phone and our contract remains the same or she gets a 4G and we may lose the unlimited data for $30 and the $20 discount per phone? Will there still be good, new 3G phones in 12 to 18 months or will they all be 4G? I need Bennnn to do a financial analysis of this decision! haha
