Root Do any AOSP Desire Roms have 720P enabled?

Simple question...

I'm going abroad, and obviously need to choose a rom before I go. Currently, I use Redux and I love it. Battery is great and it is without a doubt, the most stable rom i've ever used.

Problem is, it doesn't have HD video capabilities.

So, my questions-

Do any AOSP roms (like GV, CM7 etc) have 720p video recording enabled?
If not, what is the most stable sense rom with lots of mods and 720p? I've tried the likes of insertcoin and they just aren't very stable imo.

Google has disabled it by default in N1 ROM, so anything later would had to be hacked.
I don't see this feature even in the most hacked CM7 ROMs though...

It must be a software / hardware incompatibility.

All AOSP roms are created from the same 1 bit of source code. It only supports N1, Crespo, Crespo 4G. There arent even any proprietory files (drivers etc) for N1 in the source.

Its not like there is an N1 source, a crespo source etc. Its all one source

Basically devs download the android source, put the proprietary files for their device into the repository and compile (dumbing down).

Essentially any device that is not the Nexus 1 or Nexus S is "Hacked" to work with AOSP, so not sure why there is no 720P, except that they simply haven't got the drivers that are compatible for the camera to work with GB to do it.

This is a major problem for me then...

I love the battery, stability and overall speed of Redux.

I love the Stock Music modified for CM7, and I long for the DSP Manager. Neither of these are available on Redux, but CM7 is rubbish in comparison.

I love the 720p camcorder feature of Sense ROM's. But I'm not sure I could cope with the original sense (1.9) now, so boring and slow

But I'm going abroad for 3 weeks. I need the stability + battery of Redux, the DSP Manager of CM7 and the 720P recording of Sense?

Confused much?
