Help Do Google or HTC Accounts Remember Wifi Signals and Bookmarks?

To put my question into context I need to get you up to speed. So yesterday, I went into the Sprint store and exchanged my original 3VO for a replacement. I wanted to replace my original device because it was overheating way too often and Sprint recommended that I replace it. So I went into my local Sprint store and told them that I wanted to make an exchange and get a new 3VO device. The store gave me the run around and one lady I talked to completely pissed me off! But, that is neither here nor there. In the end, they ended up exchanging my phone, so I got a new 3VO...or so I think!

Here is why I think I did get a new phone:
-Custom made Zagg invisibleshield that I had covering the cameras on the back was gone
-New box, micro usb cable, SD card, and ac adapter

Here is why I think I did not get a new phone:
-Replacement 3VO remembered the WiFi signals I had stored on my original device!
-Bookmarked internet pages from my original device were on the replacement device!

So, my question to you is do you think they simply did a memory wipe and gave me back my original phone, or did I legitimately get a replacement 3VO? Also, do our google or HTC accounts store our remembered Wifi information and bookmarked webpages?

Only almost positive on the bookmarks. Think so.

Thanks for your input EarlyMon, but ultimately do you think when I signed into my Google account on my new phone the stored WiFi signals and bookmarks were recovered? I actually didn't mention this in the OP, but I exchanged another 3VO at the same time for the same reason and but the WiFi signal wasn't restored.

Anyways these 3VO's are awesome and I love em'!
 
Wifi definitely restores with Google account. Bluetooth will not. Apps sometimes will auto restore. Sometimes my background would also restore. I think it's dependent on bandwidth and CPU demand on what gets auto restored, and when.
 
many apps will restore however since the box to allow "other" apps is not installed, naturally unsigned apps (i forget whats its officially called in the apps tab on the device)
 
For future reference and anyone else lurking or interested:

There's something called an MEID that's printed on the surface under the battery. You may have noticed the store rep pull the battery to get to this number during activation. That number is unique to the phone. It's like the VIN on a car. Take note of that number when you go in for an exchange. If your new phone has the same MEID after the exchange, someone pulled a fast one on you.

The MEID is also labeled on the white box that the E3D is packaged in. It should match with the phone.
